Our B&B studio Sleepingarden is based in the rural outskirts of Vlissingen,in Ritthem. Some of the former horse stables have been converted into a complete studio. It is within walking distance of the Westerschelde, where you can see the boats passing by from the garden. On the sea dyke you will find a beach for swimming. You can also walk in the nature reserve or see Rammekens fortress. This is within walking distance. There are plenty of hiking and biking opportunities. Bicycles are included.

When you are travelling by car, it is an excellent base to visit Rotterdam, The Hague, Delft, Gouda, Leiden, Amsterdam, Utrecht for business or pleasure.

The location is very much in the middle of the very charming medieval town. The name of our B&B is no coincidence. This small but luxurious apartment is extremely quiet and light. It is situated on the ground floor and will make you feel at home within minutes. However, this apartment is not an exclusive holiday home. Privacy can be compared to a hotel suite. E.g. breakfast is served on a tray just outside the apartment. We can host four guests, but two will sleep on the bed sofa.

An ideal base for those looking for a quiet spot for one or more nights (May 1-Oct 1. minimum 2 nights). "The old meule" was built in 1877, which we turned into a cozy bed and breakfast. Completely in style, equipped with kitchen incl. oven, induction cooking plate, fridge and dishwasher, 3 bedrooms ( 1 equipped with sink and circulation of the mill), shower incl. rain shower, separate toilet, smart TV and WiFi available. At the end of this dead-end street, our B&B is in a quiet area between the farmlands. Breakfast with rolls, fruit, homemade jam and fresh eggs from our chickens is ready in the morning.
