2019-2020 Booked a water house and a beach house on New Year's Eve, everything is very, very perfect except for the beach house door lock, everything else is very, very perfect!!!Water house facilities are newer than beach house.There are not many people in the resort, the beach is very clear and beautiful, the food is not as scary as it says online, we think it's very delicious.The three of us also took snorkeling activities in Madaking and Tingbatin, and there were no other guests, and the three of us had a special time. When we snorkeled in Madakin, the instructor Song used the lifebuestation ring to the mother who couldn't swim, and took the three of us to watch a lot of turtles, and there was a big turtle floating on the water, close to the sea turtles!Other underwater fish and corals are also beautiful.There is almost no one on Timba Island and the beach is beautiful.There are also music accompaniment for New Year's Eve.Great experience.

I never expected Kudat to have such amazing villas. Serendipity is a beachfront villa with 4 tastefully furnished luxurious rooms. Our spacious room was located upstairs with a really comfortable bed, dressing table, tv, day bed, fan, adequate lighting and two air conditioners. The room has a big sea-facing balcony which is perfect for yoga and night photography to capture the stars and Milky Way. However, it can get pretty hot in the afternoon as there is direct sunlight into the room. This villa is very exclusive, quiet and serene. You will truly enjoy this place with its own swimming pool and a fully equipped self-catering kitchen and not to mention the ‘private’ beach with stunning sunsets. And oh, the beach cabana is a keeper!!! Phone reception is non-existence but WiFi is available in the vicinity (however signal is poor in the rooms upstairs). Bring your own ingredients to cook unless you want to drive out for meals or cater from the management. Nearest restaurants are about 10-15 mins away to the Tip of Borneo, or about 20km to town. This place is part of the Kudat Riviera exclusive villas, which is very well maintained. Every morning their workers are seen cleaning up the beach and gardens. Definitely worth a visit to have a break from the hustle and bustle of Kota Kinabalu city. I do hope this place remains well-kept and not lose its charm as more people start to discover this hidden gem..

Very good, the host will take the initiative to ask about the next day's itinerary and then send us to town ~ very happy clothes experience! Oh, there's also a very cute cat in the house~

I drove from KK to Kudat, Ekoo’s place is like a private garden with tropical plants, it’s located just a few steps from the beach. We came and found surfing is the best activity here, for the natural waves conditions. The room is air-conditioned and clean, with dry-wet-separate shower! The floor is a little bit lean, but acceptable. Kind reminders - Do take insect repellent! It’s a must! - The road from KK to here is pretty bumpy for non-local people, a trunk or an experienced driver is preferred for the road condition.

Room 20 was superb. It can get really cold at night. The view was stunning

If you want to experience the jungle away from the crowds then this place is the best hidden gem you can find around the Kinabantagan river. The rooms are spacious, will fit a family easily, it's clean and up a hill surrounded by trees with lots of wildlife. Gert is a perfect host and does everything to make your stay special. Jason the chef makes delicious food and always in for a chat. The guide is very knowledgeable. We have spotted wild orangutans just at the stairs from the resort and watched them for hours. As the place is not big you have a lot of privacy without seeing tourists all over. Very relaxing and memorable stay!

Very good place to stay, near to the city, attraction places, hospital and many more, the place very cozy, and the host very responsive and helpful during my stay for 4 nights...

Staying at The Culvert is a unique experience. The location is amazing. You feel like you are in the jungle, with everything that comes with that. You have to navigate your way up and down uneven steps and you have to be prepared for the mosquitoes. The hotel provides spray for a very low price if you don't bring your own. Also be aware that the door to the room does not seal, there is a gap, so you truly are one with nature and the Seaview rooms have a separate (private) bathroom that you have to come out of the room to access. The room itself is small, so only suitable for one person or a couple. The bed is huge and extremely comfortable, as are the pillows. The staff was very friendly and the girls at the restaurant were really nice and accommodating. The beach is beautiful to view the sunset from but this time of the year it's not really possible to swim as the water is very far away during the day. But a great walk by the beach.

The communication was very smooth, and it was especially great to give us an early check-in with early communication, convenient transportation, three minutes walk to the pier, a lot of food downstairs, and easy to take a taxi.

The location was perfect with amazing checking and premises for parking very safety.The host response very friendly.thanks a lot I will staying soon.

The room is large, the view is good, the view is good, the location is good; the host is very welcoming, speaks Mandarin, Cantonese, English, etc., the short distance arranged for us is also very professional, it is a good trip this time, I will come again.

Everything was great. I got everything I needed. But if you’re coming with your car, parking is quite a hassle. Overall, great. I recommend this to everyone who wants to find a warm, comfortable and cosy place. Thank you
