Kid-friendly vacation rentals in East Los Angeles

We had a fantastic stay! The neighborhood is vibrant and full of charm. Tons of amazing, affordable food options just minutes away, and it’s surprisingly close to downtown LA. One of the best parts? It’s also near the metro, which is a rare and super convenient perk in this city. Daniel and Rachel were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to explore LA with ease!

I’ve never left a review for an Airbnb before, but this stay is compelling me to do so. First of all the home was incredibly clean, the bed was comfortable, great amenities, parking was private and it had enough space for us. Already off to a great start. The reason for the review is because we had a small issue with the toilet leaking sewer water into the bathroom, I asked the host to fix it and he did so very quickly. We were happy with it. But he went above and beyond, doing something that caught us totally off guard. He called me and said due to the inconvenience he’d love to pay for our dinner. A small gesture, but one that really shows the care on top of the home being so nice to stay at. This will 100% be our go to stay whenever we visit LA, which is very frequent!!! I’d give 10 stars if I could. These guys will go above and beyond for their guests.

I had the perfect stay at Janus's home. Ample street parking (just don't forget to pay attention to street sweeping days, because I almost did). The space was VERY comfortable and modern. There's a beautiful view of the San Gabriel Mountains outside too. Having access to the free washer/dryer was also a huge plus. Just a heads up, the neighbor has birds that chirp during the day, which adds a touch of nature to the experience. But other than that, I really enjoyed the comfort of this home. Would definitely stay here again!

We were in town for a volleyball tournament and had the pleasure to stay at Jonathan’s home. It was clean and comfortable. Jonathan was very responsive and even offered an early check in for us. I really liked how the vehicles are secured behind a man gate for an extra layer of security and also had a nice patio area. We would definitely stay here again if we are in the area. Thanks Jonathan for the wonderful stay!

We had a great time in staying at King's place. The description is really the same as the photos. Easy check in and out. King was very responsive. His place is complete with what you need in a home for a days/week or even a month. Well recommended.

We really enjoyed staying at Louis’s place! Finding the home was very easy and we especially loved the private parking. The inside is cozy and looks as advertised and the outside area is a nice place to hang out with a view. Louis’s instructions were very clear and easy to follow. I highly recommend staying here!

The hosting was exceptional here. Extremely responsive and friendly. They made sure to check on us and when we first arrived they were very welcoming. Really nice kitchen with a lot of equipment and supplies as well. This was our first time in Alhambra and the walk around the neighborhood was heavenly, extremely peaceful and full of unique nature. It was also very close to downtown, which we enjoyed a lot. Overall one of the best Airbnbs I have had over the last 10 years of using this service. ALSO definitely one of the most simple check ins I have had which was a great relief coming from a long journey from Canada!

A great stay! The location was perfect - close to everything. The room itself was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described.

Mary’s place was great! There were many food spots right around the corner. It was very spacious and felt cozy. My favorite part was the giant mirror and dimmable lights! Parking and getting inside was easy.

We had a great stay! It was a beautiful home in a great area! We stayed a couple of days with our little doggo and it was perfect! Gaby was a great host too, really communicative and we’d absolutely stay again!

We LOVED LOVED LOVED Elizabeth’s place soooooo much!!! We were completely wow’s by her accommodation & hosting. She brought us extra fruit on top of providing us with breakfast with all fixings you could possibly ask for our entire trip. Her coffee was delicious & the tea selection was incredible. She even left us a cooler of drinks & delicious snacks after we went to the football game nearby at the Rose Bowl. My girlfriend & I have stayed at over one-hundred Airbnbs combined & Elizabeth was by far the best host we have ever had. We felt so at home with her lovely decor, comfortable amenities, & safe surroundings. This was an airbnb experience we will always cherish & never forget. We hope to be back soon. We had an incredible 10-day stay at Nada’s place. The apartment is perfectly located just outside Little Tokyo, with plenty of great restaurants, cafes, and local spots within walking distance. It made exploring the area super easy and enjoyable. The apartment itself was spotless, well-equipped, and had everything we needed to feel comfortable and at home. But what truly made our stay special was Nada herself. From the moment we arrived, she was welcoming, attentive, and always available for any questions or help we needed — without ever being intrusive. Her kindness and hospitality made a real difference, and we felt genuinely cared for throughout our stay. We can’t recommend Nada’s place highly enough, and we’d absolutely love to stay again if we’re ever back in the area. Thank you again for everything, Nada!

Lovely place with a very homey feel to it. It's one of two airbnbs at the building, but they are fully separated. Everything was as described, and the hosts were super communicative. Its a great deal, given there is laundry and parking onsite, they allow pets, and its a fully livable unit in a comfortable suburban neighborhood.

Selina was a very responsive host with a nice little place. Very clean and no frills. Bonus points for the gated private parking spot. If you are looking for a place to stay, with all the essentials and at a fair price, I would highly recommend.

Pari’s place is bigger than it appears in the photos- really nice space. Modern and comfortable, fully outfitted kitchen, and plenty of towels/amenities. Contrary to other reviewers, I didn’t find the parking to be tough. I rented an SUV and just backed into the space without a problem - I can see how it would be tough for someone if they headed in- just do a three point turn up front and you’ll be fine :) One last comment- the location can’t be beat! Walking distance to so much (including one of my favorite restaurants, Green Street). And less than 15 minutes to Occidental College, where I was attending events. Great stay. Thanks Pari!

I had spent the weekend in downtown LA in the location was pleasant. It felt secure and safe was clean and spacious. The rooftop was added along with having safe parking across the street. I’ll be referring and booking again soon.

Fabulous DTLA apartment. Great living space. Close to restaurants, shops and USC. Didn’t get to use the pool but it looked great. Parking was easily accessible and a big plus. Would definitely stay again!

We were in LA for business meetings. Before we make a reservation, we compared Ali's condo with the other condos surrounding. He is the most responsive and most helpful host, and we are so glad and lucky that we made a correct selection and book Ali's house. He likes a local friend who provided us with not only assistance/guidance on check-in and staying but also touring and catering advice. He is super responsive, proactively reaching out to us offering additional help, and so friendly. The place is clean, comfortable, and welcoming. Guests can tell from the tasty design, details of guidance, and thoughtful and convenient amenities that Ali and his wife have spent great time and effort to make this place as welcoming and cozy as possible. This place is definitely our stay for next visit, regardless for business or private. The location is close to everything, peaceful, and in walking distance to my LA office and everything.
