Vacation rentals in East Lansing

My stay here was great, and the location is beautiful. Anita is so friendly and helpful. She was very communicative in advance and also while I was there. I was in town to look for houses and she kindly sent me many links of available houses and gave me insights into neighborhoods and schools. She went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable and welcome. The basement where the airbnb is located does not have direct heat (though there is a space heater and a heated blanket), but Anita turned the heat on higher in their part of the house so that it would warm the basement up more for me. She was also very flexible on my arrival and return dates, both of which changed last minute. I couldn't have asked for a nicer host.

I had such a wonderful stay at this place! It was a perfect location - close to MSU and shopping, it had a gorgeous yard and artwork, and it was SO CLEAN. Communication was great, and it was nice to briefly meet the owner and the dogs. :) As the description states, it is a basement so you will hear the family moving about upstairs. That said, it was not bothersome for me, the space is very private, and I was able to relax and get work done during times I was not visiting campus. This is one of the nicest airbnb homes I've stayed in, and I would absolutely return. Thank you!

We had an absolutely wonderful time! The hot tub was perfect and the location was amazing. We were able to get to a State game and all over very easy. It was also a great house to just hang out and spend time with our friends. We loved the kitchen that had all the things you need. The bed sheets were soft and the couch and living space was very comfy. Thank you for such a great vacation!

We were brought into town for a family visits. We felt right at home. Thank you for the last minute accommodations. The home was lovely and comfortable

The place is good for the cost that comes with. The apartment unit is very nice. Anna is a great host.

Ashley’s home was wonderfully inviting. I had a very comfortable stay there. It was nice to see her in the morning and share a little coffee before I left for work. I would recommend to stay to anyone.

Staying at Nature's Nook made a difficult situation very much less so for us. Super close to the zoo and lots of other things for the kids + great restaurants nearby. Plus the house was very clean 👍

What a great stay!!! As soon as I walked in, I could tell that this lovely home was well cared for. The attention to detail was so welcoming. The house was extremely clean, cozy and inviting. Shara was very accommodating and it was clear from the start that she strived to make my stay there enjoyable. I would 100% be recommending anyone traveling to Lansing to stay at the Virginia House.. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We enjoyed our stay especially the beautiful sunsets over the lake! It was clean and well appointed. We will be back!

My colleague and I stayed here while attending a conference at MSU and really enjoyed it. The two bedroom two bathroom setup was perfect for us. One thing to know is that the kitchenette is not really outfitted for true cooking, however, that worked fine for us because most of our meals were provided by the conference. It’s situated in a really beautiful, scenic, green, neighborhood and the hosts were very accommodating. Highly recommend!

In 2024 my son found this listing and booked the apartment for us to stay during graduation weekend. The apartment was very close to his college rental. The listing, price, host and apartment worked out so well, I rebooked for 2025 masters graduation. I highly recommend this location and apartment for any MSU events.

This was my second stay and I was just as pleased as the first time. The decorations and care showing to the inside make me feel like I am at a home away from home anything I could have possibly needed was already thought of. Truly a lovely place to stay.

Thanks to Nate and Austin for taking on stewardship of this place and letting us all experience it and being excellent hosts. Bigger and more extravagant houses can't match how a thoughtfully designed simple space can make you feel. There's a lot of information about the history of the house to peruse and the artwork from the original owners is a great connection to the past. It was a great stay at an important place in Wright's career.

One of the best experiences I've had with airbnb, Eric is incredibly helpful and the place is stocked with everything you could possibly need. he clearly spends a lot of time thinking about what his guests might want and anticipated that well. There were even little food/water bowls for my dog! The space is super convenient, right off the highway but surprisingly quiet. Only a few minutes to MSU and downtown. Small, but comfortable, and I would absolutely stay again. Excellent value as well!
