Vacation rentals with a fire pit in East Cook

As advertised, clean, quiet and comfortable! Beds were fantastic, haven't slept that well in months! Would recommend!

My fiancé and I had a wonderful stay at Kapil’s. Kapil was very thoughtful and made sure we had a pleasant stay after our long drive. I would highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone and will return next time in the area.

Viewpoint was enchantingly perfect for our family of four for a long weekend. Our children (6 and 2) were fascinated by the records and CDs, and we had dance parties every afternoon. The bedrooms and game room were perfect for them - table and chairs for coloring, board games and Twister, and a guitar for my husband to entertain them with. The outdoor table served as a perfect stage for their musical performances, and we all loved sitting on the Adirondack chairs on the porch. The grown ups loved the beautiful mug collection, proximity to Fika, easy access to Grand Marais, and the view. I have never felt more at peace than we did at the Virwpoint. Our family of four had a most enjoyable and relaxing stay here. I have no hesitation in recommending this location and the kind hosts. It made for a great relaxing and peaceful retreat near the Duluth area. It was an easy drive to Duluth and the North Shore. We would definitely choose to return if there was an opportunity to do so. What can you say? This home has a gorgeous private black sand beach in a small cove directly below the house. So beautiful and peaceful, especially at sunrise and sunset. The house itself is lovely with very nice linens and super comfortable beds and pillows and a charming cabin vibe. The kitchen is well stocked. The location is fantastic- near Split Rock lighthouse, Tettegouche and Gooseberry Falls. The communication about how to check in and what amenities are available is incredibly detailed and helpful. We would love to stay here again!

We stayed at Cedar Cove for 5 nights with our extended family with an age range of 18 months to 80 years. This house is a perfect place for a multi generation get together. Everyone had a wonderful time and enjoyed the beautiful house and furnishings. There are multiple sitting areas and the beds are extremely comfortable. The view of Lake Superior is gorgeous. The house is very well equipped with all the kitchen ware we could have needed. It is also stocked with many good books, puzzles and games. It is a perfect place to get away and relax.

We loved our stay at Iver’s Place! Great location for a North Shore getaway. Would definitely stay here again in the future.

Wendy’s Airbnb is in a very convenient location, especially if you’re having to walk at all. Wendy will greet you upon arrival, and I found her to be incredibly friendly and personable-she’s truly great to chat with and was very accommodating throughout my stay. She and her husband reside upstairs which makes for quick and easy communication. Personally I find it valuable when the host is on site as it makes it feel safer, and I’ve had issues at other properties where hosts weren’t present. I’d seen this ad before but hesitated because it’s a basement apartment. Upon checking in, I was pleasantly surprised-it’s much brighter and more welcoming than the ad suggests. The apartment was very clean, the bed is soft and comfortable and coffee pods are provided, which is all I really ask for when staying somewhere.🙂The beautiful little backyard is obviously well-tended, and there’s an area where you can sit out in the sun. This Airbnb feels like a home away from home, and I’d stay again.

Best Airbnb I have ever stayed at! Comfortable beds(like sleeping on a cloud) amenities and extras, soda and water in fridge, even butter and milk and cereal, the tea collection, the back yard oasis, both day and night,pool, personal welcome, kitchen well stocked, bathroom extras from lotion to vanity sets. We felt very welcomed and accepted. We will stay here next time we come from the states!

Debbie's place was very nicely decorated and had everything we needed. It's a great location - walkable to restaurants and shops, and close to the Bear and Wolf centers and close to hiking trails. We would highly recommend!

If you are fortunate enough, to spend some time on Minnesota’s North Shore, you won’t be disappointed staying here. Brenda and Tom‘s place is exactly as described. It is more than we expected. It is clean, beautifully decorated, and a lovely place to spend a vacation. The location is perfect and so scenic! We enjoyed sitting on the deck and even spotted an Eagle! We had a wonderful time hiking and exploring the surrounding area, including Gooseberry Falls, Grand Marais, and the quaint town of Two Harbors.

I stayed here for three days with my wife and 2-month-old daughter. We received a warm welcome from Robert and Chester. We also got to meet Emmy Lou the following day. We loved everything about the stay. We woke up to the beautiful sounds of nature and felt one with it as we walked around the place. Robert recommended some local spots that we couldn't find on Google, and we enjoyed them. He was always ready to help us feel at home, and we recommend his place for anyone visiting Thunder Bay. P.S.: If you like "The Outdoor Boys", then you'll enjoy interacting with Robert, learning about his projects, the place and everything about the overall experience.

Loved our stay at Cedar's Seaside Chalet. Everything was exactly as described. The view of Lake Superior was spectacular. Loved falling asleep with the window cracked listening to the waves. Our son really enjoyed the sleeping loft with the skylight and video game. We were in Lutsen to support a friend running a 50K ultra marathon, so we didn't spend a ton of time in the condo, but when we did it was super relaxing and we crashed hard! Will definitely be back again!

Amanda was very easy to communicate with and friendly. I would’ve stayed more than one night if the situation were different. There is a lot to do in the area. The unit was very attractive and clean. Also, the checkout procedure was seamless.

Lodge 34 was a delight for all 6 of us. The boys thoroughly enjoyed it from the time we arrived until the time we left. Everything was spotless and looked brand new. Everyone liked the North Woods look and feel. Beautiful screened porch. Would highly recommend this lodge. Paul

Beautiful home on a perfect private beach on the North Shore. A group of us get together every year for an agate picking weekend and our normal spot in Beaver Bay was booked, but we found this as a replacement and it was amazing! Great homey feel, lots of cool artwork, and a fantastic view of the lake. Would definitely recommend this place as a perfect North Shore escape.

Super cozy and fun spot just a few minutes from downtown grand marais! We had a great time staying at this Airbnb while hiking some segments of the superior hiking trail. The space was cozy and we loved the fire, the comfy beds, and the chickens. We would definitely stay again!

My husband and son had such a great time. This cabin is full of charm and they are already talking about "the next time!"

This cute little cabin was the perfect spot for us to relax over a long holiday weekend. The surroundings are beautiful, and there is so much to explore along the North Shore. It is small and the perfect size for me and my husband. Would also work well if you had 2 small kids. Book this no-frills place if you want a break from the stress of the city. Just a short walk down the road to the beach and rock coast of Lake Superior. We enjoyed ourselves immensely!
