The Slaaplokaal in Wierum is a beautiful and cozy apartment with a spacious private garden, located in a former primary school 100m from the Wadden Sea. It is located in the middle of the Unesco World Heritage site, where you can intensely enjoy the peace and beauty of the Wadden area. The apartment is very spacious and can accommodate up to 5 people. In 2024, this estate was transferred from a centuries-old family tradition to the Drenths landscape. Partly to preserve the estate, it was decided to partially convert it into an attractive B&B. Relax in our cottage on the coast. Use all your senses in the discovery of "our" Wadden Sea, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here you can enjoy hiking, biking and bird watching. For day trips, you can be in Leeuwarden, Groningen or on Schiermonnikoog or Ameland within an hour. Have you ever been to the beautiful Dokkum? It is only 12 km away. Sleeping with the sheep & a whole herd of horses.

Waking up overlooking the dining room of a herd of horses living in freedom, 2 pigs making their bed every night in front of the window and sometimes a sheep walks by. Closer to the pure things in life. Therefore, there is no WiFi and no TV. There is a large table to play games together and a lovely sofa to drink a glass of wine together.
