Welcome to a century old mining house! A Very comfortable home with a large double lot. Located in the middle of paradise with Lake Superior not far from us in any direction. Less than a 1/2 mile from the main snowmobile/Atv trail, close to Mont Ripley, Swedetown, Mont Bohemia. We are centrally located between Houghton (20 miles away), Copper Harbor (25 miles away) and Calumet (5 miles). A great value.

The copper coast loft had everything and more for a very enjoyable weekend getaway. The host took the time to provide all the little things that you wouldn’t think to pack. Communication could not have been any better which is so crucial heading to a place mostly out of cell service.

This was our fourth winter vacation at Spyglass! What a wonderful location to experience and enjoy the Keweenaw Peninsula. We simply never get tired of watching the lake and enjoying the fireplace inside the cabin. Appreciate Cleve’s hospitality and efforts to make our stay special. Can’t wait for next year!

We stayed for the Great Bear Chase and Amy’s place was perfect as it is downtown and walking distance to everything. We even got greeted with fresh flowers on the table. Clean, practical, great host. Perfect.

Barry and Carol are incredible hosts. The place is exactly what my dad and I needed for our yearly trip to the UP. We got a flat tire and Barry and Carol were beyond helpful. I thought it was going to ruin our trip but turned into a 30 min drive with a spare, and one of the best Pasties I’ve had which was a win. Thanks again.

Secluded Hilltop Chalet with Spectacular Views

Great place and great hosts. The rental has one bedroom on the main floor, the other bedroom and bathroom are on the second floor. This was a super cozy place that was close enough to houghton, copper harbor, and Mt. Bohemian (which had a spectacular spa even during the off season). The kitchen was fully stocked which also came in clutch when all the local restaurants were booked for dinner. Overall, I would definitely recommend staying here.

Secluded Luxury on Lake Superior

We enjoyed our stay here. The building and location was "luxurious" for the Keweenaw. We appreciated having private beach access and laundry. The main house is close and in line of sight to the beach, but we felt the residents onsite were very respectful of our privacy while we were there (it didn't bother us). We would recommend you bring your own kitchenware for longer stays (cutting board, sharp knives / they had them but I'd bring my own next time). Bring basic supplies like cooking oil, spices, coffee, food storage containers, etc. The nearest store isn't close and we had to grab some items while we were out and about.

Exceptional! We were so comfortable in every way. Donna and her husband were extremely kind and responsive throughout our stay. The house had a well stocked kitchen, everything was in great working order and seemed brand new. The place was so clean! We never had problems with enough hot water for the four of us. Beds were quite comfortable, got better sleep here than I’ve had in a while. We love spending time in the UP and look forward to many more stays at this location. Thanks for a terrific stay!!
