When looking for a listing we recommend the following tips to find a highly rated and reliable place for your upcoming stay:
Find Highly Rated Stays Enter your trip details at the top of the page:- Location: Enter either city, address, or landmark

How to use amenity filters
Start with the basicsbegin your search by choosing your destination, the dates you’ll be checking in and out, and the total number of guests. After you have the results of your basic search, you can choose to add additional filters. Additional filters Click or tap on popular filters like Type of place or Price from the search results page, or select More filters to access all of your search filter options. We’re always trying to make it easier for you to find what you’re looking for, and filters will continue to change over time. Here’s a list of some of the options that may be available for your search:
For the most accurate results, always - Type of place: Choose from options like an entire place or a private room
- Price: Use the sliding scale to find listings in your price range
- Cancellation flexibility: Show stays that offer flexibility in their cancellation policy
- Rooms and beds: Choose the number of bedrooms, bathrooms, or beds you need for your trip
- Instant Book: Find places that you can book without waiting for host approval
- Amenities: Select the amenities you want for your stay, like a kitchen or a TV
- Facilities: Select from facility options like a gym or a pool
- Accessibility: Select the features you need to move around a place comfortably and safely
- Neighborhoods: Where available, choose the parts of town that interest you the most
- Host language: Choose hosts who speak a language you know
- House rules: Search for places that allow for pets
How to find stays for accessibility needs
Once you’ve chosen your destination, entered the dates you’ll be checking in and out, and entered the total number of guests, you can add additional filters to meet your accessibility needs.
Select “More Filters” on the search page. Search for the Accessibility section and select “Choose features of your place to stay.” Select the filters that meet your requirements. Tip: To maximize your search results, it is helpful to select your top priority accessibility features and review each listing to make sure it meets all of your needs. The search results will show listings that have the accessibility filters you selected. Select a listing that you are interested in to read the listing description, reviews from previous guests, or view photos. Scroll down to review photos in the accessibility section. If you are not certain or have any concerns, here are some helpful tips and examples of questions you may want to ask the host:- Make sure to provide the host with the exact measurements that you need for any of the following:
- Doorway width to the entrance of the listing, to the bedroom, and to the bathroom
- Space around the bed
- Space around the bathroom
- Are there any steps to climb to get into the listing bedroom or bathroom on the main floor?
- Can you describe the pathway from the street/sidewalk to the front entrance? Are there any steps, steep inclines, gravel, etc.?
- Is it possible to move furniture (coffee/side tables, ottomans, etc.) to make more space to move around?
- Is there adequate lighting to the entrance of the listing to help guide a guest with low vision?
- Do you have a digital version of your guidebook and rules?
How to book on behalf of others
After you’ve selected a listing, proceed to the check-out page.
Step 1: Select work trip at check-out In order to book a listing for someone else, you must select the booking as a work trip. Select button “Is this a work trip?” Step 2: Book this place for someone else Select “Add” under “Book this place for someone else” to start searching for a specific traveler. Step 3: Search for traveler name Use the search bar to find a traveler within your organization by name or email address. If a traveler’s name or email doesn’t appear or is outside of your organization, select “Add a new traveler”. Step 4: Confirm traveler Once you’ve found or added the traveler, click “Save” to add them to the booking. In some cases, travelers may need to complete their Airbnb profile, grant permissions to book on their behalf, or create an Airbnb account. Don’t worry—you can complete the booking in the meantime and we’ll guide you and the traveler how to complete the rest. Step 5: Complete the booking The traveler is now added to this booking. Complete the booking by selecting “Confirm and pay” Step 6: Booking Confirmation Once the above steps are complete, you’ll receive a confirmation message. You’ll also receive confirmation via email. If the traveler you’re booking for needs to complete additional steps, we’ll keep you informed on the status and send a reminder to the traveler to complete their profile.Sample message to hosts
