Awesome property for a weekend getaway from the city. Sonny made this place into a fun playground - the pond is amazing, the hot tub, sauna, and back deck felt like a spa, and we enjoyed the fire pit and taking a short hike to the creek. The house itself is simple but has everything you need and we even managed to order Uber eats once from Kingston. The area is great, and we enjoyed the villages and a nice hike in the area. We will definitely come back.

My husband and I had a wonderfully relaxing time at the Little Owl Teahouse. It’s a cozy and well-outfitted cabin with a super comfy bed and a great leather reading chair. Drank lots of the delicious mountain well water. Made breakfast in kitchen — love the pans and electric cooktop. Short drive to Woodstock for dinner. And oh the beauty of the surroundings - scenic views everywhere. Our two little doggies were happy to romp in the fenced in yard. Little too chilly when we were there but pool looks so appealing. Lisa is a proactive and super responsive host.

The house is really gorgeous. Everything was very new/modern, clean, and comfortable. We enjoyed cooking meals in the kitchen overlooking the stunning view out the back. The hot tub and fire put were nice amenities to enjoy. The BBQ seemed to not be working, but other than that, no complaints. Location wise, the property is located in the northwest Catskills, near Stamford, NY, and convenient to many hiking spots in the area as well as nearby towns. The property itself its up on a hill, in what felt like a secluded and private spot, which made it feel like a real getaway and retreat. In sum, recommend this Airbnb for the nice amenities, modern touches, and amazing view.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Wilderkill Barn. Maria Cristina and William were exceptional hosts—warm, attentive, and genuinely committed to making our visit special. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The home was a haven, with a hot tub, sauna, pool, fire pit, pool table, and immersive sound and movie systems—all of which made our stay delightful despite the cold, dreary May weather. We can't thank them enough. ***That said, we feel it's necessary to address a serious issue with Airbnb itself that arose while booking this property, unrelated to the property itself. An unexpected tax was added after booking, and Airbnb has yet to provide a clear explanation. After years of loyalty, we were disappointed by their evasive and unhelpful customer support. This experience has made us reconsider using the platform in the future. We urge potential users to scrutinize all fees carefully and be aware that Airbnb’s support may be difficult to navigate if problems arise.***

We loved this cute studio cabin at the end of a quiet lane in the woods. The host was accommodating and left a welcome basket with tea & muffins for our arrival. The whole unit was clean and well maintained with basic equipment for cooking. We enjoyed sitting on the veranda watching the wildlife. Convenient location for Woodstock for coffee and food, & Ashokan reservoir for walking and cycling. There were a few potholes on the access road to the property which deer use to drink from (☺️). We loved that the cabin was bug free and did not have any trace of bug spray! (We get very bad reactions to that stuff). Thank you for hosting & being respive. Recommend for a weekend 👍🏼

We loved our stay here in Cornwallville! The location is really quiet and remote (great view of the stars), and the house is clean. The vibes inside are great, as are the hot tub and fire pit. Would absolutely stay here again!

Excellent house, location, and hosts! Very easy to just settle right in with everything needed for a relaxing and peaceful time in the mountains. Can't beat the layout/setup of the house along with the yard, deck, pond, and firepit for some fun and chill time with family/friends.

Marta’s place was the perfect winter escape! The house was spacious, cozy, and even better than the photos. The high ceilings and open layout made it great for relaxing, and the kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. Even in the cold, the house stayed warm and comfortable. The peaceful location made it feel like a true getaway, yet it was still close enough to essentials. Marta was a fantastic host—responsive and helpful from start to finish. We had an amazing stay and would love to come back!

Stan is an amazing host and was so courteous that he cleaned up the drive way when it snowed like crazy. He was extremely warm and nice to our daughter and it was great experience. We enjoyed the house and hospitality.

We struck gold with this Airbnb! This peaceful home, boasting a truly wonderful view, was everything we hoped for and more. The outdoor porch, in particular, was an absolute dream. It offered so many perfect spots to simply sit and soak in the morning tranquility or to gather and chat with family. We made the most of the grill, enjoying countless meals outdoors. Inside, the home felt incredibly comfortable and welcoming, with a full kitchen that was a joy to use. Even with eight of us, everyone easily found their own private retreat or a comfortable communal space. Whenever we had a question or a need arose, we received an immediate and helpful response. The suggested restaurants were also a delightful discovery. Even when the weather turned and it rained for our last two days, we felt incredibly lucky to have the covered porch, allowing us to continue enjoying the peacefulness and beauty of nature. Thank you for opening your beautiful home to us.

We had a fantastic stay! The host was incredibly kind and went above and beyond to make our trip possible. Due to our car not being snow-ready, we got stuck in snow. The host kindly drove us up and down to the property, making sure we didn’t have to worry about anything! His helpfulness and hospitality made all the difference. He was truly a life saver! Had a great weekend staying at this airbnb. The host was very helpful and communicative. The location was lush green and tranquil this time of the year, the house was cozy and comfortable, some great hiking trails close by too, would highly recommend.

We had a lovely stay with a few days of skiing and hot tub sunsets. We came up for a small family trip with my wife and our two children and we had friends from the Poconos meet us up and my sister came down from Albany the area with my niece and nephew for the last evening to share some pizza from Windham Pizza. The hosts were very accommodating and I cannot recommend this property enough. Less than 15 minutes to the slopes made our ski trip super accessible. I had a wonderful time at Justine's beautiful countryside, modern farmhouse. Gorgeous setting up high in the mountain range with an incredible view of the mountainside. Open lot with lot's of space. Absolutely gorgeous open first floor concept with incredible deck. Super comfortable and great kitchen set up with all you need to cook. House is well stocked with necessities. Upstairs is lovely and both bedrooms are super comfortable with room darkening shades and nice ceiling fans. I could sit for hours and look at the mountains. Like you are in your own heaven. Justine lives in a private cabin on the property and comes and goes which I really liked as she was super accessible and not in your way at all. She was so gracious and I had a great time. 5 star property. You will not be disappointed. Great hiking destinations and lakes nearby and 3 cute restaurants with in a 10 to 15 minute drive. You are in the country and it is amazing. Thank you Justine! Beautiful art!

This was our second stay at Elsbree House, so we knew exactly what to expect-a gorgeous Victorian home close to great restaurants and to fun area events. Rafael is an extremely responsive and flexible host who is always available by text. We hope to return in 2025!

Overall great location, it’s very close to hunter mountain and Wyndham if you’re looking to shred. The inside of the home is very cool and smells like Home Depot’s lumber isle. 10/10 The outside is gorgeous. There’s lots of outdoor lighting and a really cool wood fired hot tub overlooking the stream in the backyard

Becca’s place was homey, comfortable and beautiful. Our dog loved hanging around the yard, it was a perfect getaway for my husband and I. The communication and flexibility was refreshing and I knew wed be comfortable the moment we started speaking to the host! Would definitely recommend!

By far the nicest place I’ve ever stayed at! The home looks like it’s straight out of a catalog – with high-end finishes and design, yet it feels so homey at the same time. The interior and exterior are gorgeous, and the grounds are stunning, surrounded by rolling hills and farms throughout the area. The home was stocked with everything you need and was absolutely pristine. Every detail was thoughtfully taken care of, from the cozy touches to the fully equipped kitchen. I felt so relaxed and at home. I’m definitely coming back!

JunkO and Ryo are great hosts! They are very responsive, thoughtful and helpful. The place is super clean that we feel comfortable letting our 11 month old crawl and explore in the house. Generally, a very nice stay!
