Vacation rentals with breakfast in DuPage County

Great place to stay and at a very affordable price. Location is a bit far from the city but other than that it was wondrful experience.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home, 30 min away from Chicago downtown which came equipped with all the basic amenities we needed for a comfortable visit. The house was spotless, the bed was cozy, and the neighborhood was quiet and pleasant perfect for a relaxing getaway. The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming. They gave us a quick tour of the place upon arrival, making sure we felt at home. They were flexible with our late checkin and In the mornings, they offered us breakfast, which was a lovely touch. They also went out of their way to suggest local tourist spots, including some great tips and tricks for finding parking downtown — something we really appreciated. Having a dedicated parking spot in the driveway was super convenient, especially after long days of exploring. Overall, the hospitality, cleanliness, and thoughtful touches made this a truly memorable stay. We’d definitely love to return and highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.

This country house is well located, quiet, off the beaten path, but easy to reach. The rooms are super clean and well appointed. The Hosts are very social and take great care and interest in their guests. They are great communicators, and appreciate all feedback. Best advice to potential guests....must like dogs and good conversation,( and movies). And coordinate plans closely with hosts to take advantage of their local tips and advice. and Respect for house rules will make for a smooth stay for everyone. Travelers can not go wrong choosing to stay with Laura and Mike, they were/are the best.

Nam was responsive, friendly and engaging. if there was a question or problem she and her team addressed it immediately. The living room, bedroom and bathroom were spotless and very well decorated. the couches were really comfortable to watch TV. I'd stay again!

John’s place is very clean and warm, John is very friendly and helpful, the other guests in the house also very nice and quiet, I feel very comfortable as John’s place, it’s very cold recently in Chicago, John provide me extra blanket and an extra heater, I would like to come again if I come to Chicago

Kimberly was a warm host and the accommodations were just what I expected. Kimberly went out of her way to welcome me and I really enjoyed our chats. She even thought of things like a basic of items with a sign that said, "Forgot Something?" and contained some necessities like toothpaste (which I had forgotten!). Beautiful property and a lovely place to stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Jay's place. He met us in person to check in and personally showed us through the house and made us feel so welcome. The house was very homey and had everything we needed. It's also in a great location in a very walkable neighborhood close to the Frank Lloyd Wright Studio. Oh, and morning coffee on the sun porch was delightful. Thanks for a great stay, Jay.

We loved our stay in the Pink House, which felt truly like a home away from home with everything we could possibly need. You can tell how thoughtful Niki and Sean are about their space and that they care about their guests having a lovely time - especially appreciated the comfy linens and snacks! Perfect location too with an easy walk to the L and plenty to discover just by wandering around the immediate neighborhood. Niki has all the recs.

Staying at Jenny's place was fantastic! She was always responsive and helpful. The apartment itself was cozy and pretty quiet, especially for a Chicago unit. I hope to stay there again in the future!

Location is in a great place! Home was super clean as well with a comfy bed! Only downfall is the 4 sets of stairs to make it up to the 3rd floor with our suitcases. Other than that absolutely loved! Thanks again!

Carol’s place was very comfortable for our family of 4! Amenities were all as listed and everything was clean and inviting. We hope to stay here again the next time we visit family in Blue Island!

Perfect spot for 2, more spacious than expected for a 3rd floor apt. Easy, clear instructions when viewing the listing and inside the apt

DW was very flexible and responsive. He was very accommodating to allow us to check in early and flexibility on check out as well. The location is good - if you are super sensitive to the noise of the train it may not be ideal, but the proximity to the train stop and Wicker Park was great. You must go to Mindy’s bakery - if I lived this close to a place like that I would gain so much weight 😅. Thanks again!

It was a wonderful stay with a very hospitable host. We loved the access to the beautiful kitchen with instant hot water for tea. The homemade baked goods were a delicious treat in the morning. The room was immaculate. The back rooms face the tracks for the busy Chicago Transit Blue Line, so if noise bothers you, ask for a room facing the street.

Very cozy place in a calm tucked away neighborhood. Would definitely stay again!

Mary's place was a great location for our short trip to Chicago! It was a short Uber drive from the airport, and a short drive to the All-State Arena. We did arrive late at night due to flight delays and opted for an Uber versus the train. I am glad we did cause it seems like the train station is under construction for the side we needed and would have been a bit more of a walk departing from the other side, but definitely not a dealbreaker or anything. The house is a short walk from this breakfast place that we actually went to twice during our short stay, with other options nearby. Overall, the house felt cozy and clean, but we did struggle with getting in the bathroom first thing in the morning with the other guests in the house during our stay. Mary was very responsive and a great host to us during our stay. The bed was comfortable as well and the room had amble space for a large suitcase, a carry-on, and two large bags with space to spare for two people.

Loved the king sized bed, and the large shower. Location was perfect. We stayed in the Wolcott which is on the front ground floor. Has a beautiful brick fireplace in front of the bed. I think this building had about 6 units. Everyone was friendly. They provided a community kitchen and breakfast was nice. Bagels, muffins, pastry, boiled eggs, oatmeal, coffee &tea, and juice was all very fresh. Easy in, easy out! We’ll return soon! Thanks!!

Nidhi’s place was exactly as described. I can’t say enough good things about it. The bed was very comfortable. The Jacuzzi and mood lighting was fun. The dorm size fridge and microwave wow you don’t normally see that in a motel anymore. Everything was clean and the water pressure was very good. Plenty of hot water.. I was shocked that every morning a full complete breakfast was in the lobby for free not to mention 24 hour coffee! We were there on a business trip and across the street were excellent restaurants, including an upscale bar with delicious meals, a sushi house, Chinese restaurant and a diner. You could also get your nails done and book a massage right across the street. I enjoyed taking the train into Chicago. It was very simple to buy your ticket on the spot not far from the motel at the station. The neighborhoods surrounding her place were beautiful. I did a lot of walking and there were sidewalks everywhere making it safe. She and the check-in managers we’re friendly.

Nazneen and Mehtab went above and beyond to make my stay exceptional! I was a long-term guest while finishing my travel nursing contract, and this home was the perfect location for my commute to the hospital. The house itself is like an art museum. It’s full of color, charm, and rich with history. During my stay, I had the pleasure of creating several unique items with Nazneen’s Pursenality Specialty Handbags, which added a special, creative touch to my experience. Another thing I loved was the sound of the train in the distance. It was very cozy and helped me sleep better at night. This stay made my final weeks in Elgin truly enjoyable, and I would gladly return in the future! Thank you for treating me so kindly and opening your beautiful home. Even when I was sick towards the end, I felt so taken cared of with the hot teas you both made for me. Also, your cooking and food is so delicious. I left inspired to cook more after the meals we shared. Thank you so very much:)
