This house is clean, easy to find, and very well stocked. It had everything we needed to feel comfortable. The upstairs bedroom was beautiful and I slept soundly! I will define stay here again when I visit McCloud.

No photos can do justice to this wonderful, wonderful house. The location is perfect—you get a stunning view of Mt. Shasta, and the ability to see so many stars at night is absolutely mind-blowing! Not to mention how cozy the house is—beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean. My friends and I are so thankful the universe led us to Janet's house; it truly was the cherry on top of our trip to Mt. Shasta. We’re already looking forward to coming back.

Highly recommend Lenore’s place! The place was very comfortable and clean for the four of us. We stayed for a night on our way up to Crater Lake and really enjoyed how conveniently located Lenore’s place was to local hikes and the Main Street. Plus, great views of Mount Shasta! Lenore was super responsive, had great and comprehensive recs for a local hikes, and was helpful with questions we had.

We had a very nice stay at this beautiful house. It's dog friendly and the yard is amazing - big and nice outdoor seating areas. The house had everything we needed, great kitchen, cute bedrooms, comfortable beds and plenty of additional lines and towels. One can walk downtown to restaurants and shops very easily and all are dog friendly. Host communication was prompt and we were very comfortable and would definitely stay here again.

This was such a great place to stay! Great locations The best stocked Air BnB I have stayed in. Everything you could ever need including various charges. Clean and well appointed. Highly recommend!

I was absolutely blown away by this beautiful, modern yet rustic, quaint little home!! From the great communication of the host, to all the unique touches inside, to the “Welcome Book” which had all the information needed for a relaxing stay, this place had it all. It literally made you feel right at home when you walked in. The atmosphere was “Comfort.” Jamie seemed to think of everything one might need because the minute I thought, “Oh, this would be nice.” It was something that was actually available. It was spotless. Had all the amenities you would need. The beds were also SO comfortable with the most cozy linens and the water got super hot, which is a plus for me! I actually didn’t hear the train at all! Although earplugs were offered if it was a problem. We ate at Yaks on 5 for dinner and that was the best burger I have EVER had! If I ever come through Dunsmuir again, I will definitely stay again. 100% worth what you pay for!! A great experience for my first ever stay. 🤩

The Airbnb was amazing! Checking and checkout were very smooth. The house was amazing! So much natural light. The kitchen is beautiful. The deck is gorgeous, with plenty of space to relax in the sun. Definitely will stay next time we are in town. Love the location, very walkable.

Anna Marie's place was great! The location is perfect—right between Shasta and Castle Crags, which was ideal for our hiking trips. The space was exactly as described: small, clean, cute, and private. The kitchen was fully stocked with every essential—we were honestly surprised (in the best way)! We really appreciated the coffee and tea, and the thoughtful box of “things you might need” was a lifesaver. I forgot my toothbrush and didn’t realize it until later at night, so I was very grateful to find a new one in that box. The hot tub was perfect for relaxing after a long day on the trails, but my favorite part was the firepit in the peaceful garden—with a cool breeze coming through, it was the perfect end to our evenings. Just a heads-up: the town tends to close up around 8 PM during the week, so plan accordingly. But overall, it’s a super relaxing and peaceful place. Would absolutely stay again!

A nice, peaceful and beautiful place. Conveniently located, almost 15 mins to Mt Shasta City. Host was very friendly, responsive and accommodated our odd hours checkin and checkout. Very knowledgeable about the area as well.

We had a lovely stay here! The house was lovely and cozy. Thyra and Christine were very communicative and helpful; they have clear and helpful instructions for fun hikes around the area. The kitchen is well thought out and has all the basics you need to start cooking a great meal. They also include food for you, which was extremely thoughtful and appreciated. Can't recommend it enough—wish our stay here was longer!

Beautiful 2bed/1ba in a peaceful private community. The property is renovated on the inside, true to the pictures. The check-in and parking instructions were accurate. The Sac River is a block away so you can hear the beautiful sound of flowing water all day. The big room is great for a couple (+ child), the second room is great for a solo person and cozy for a couple. The rest of the condo has a spacious living area with tv/games/books, a fully equipped kitchen, and an outdoor balcony with great views where you can eat out in nice weather (which we did!). Note that the train tracks are just across the river, so you will hear the train a few times including at night - but this seems to be the case anywhere in Dunsmuir. I would recommend this place and hope to be back in this nature retreat again.

John was very friendly and welcoming. We felt completely at home on his and Sandy’s beautiful property! It’s a peaceful and enchanting getaway in the forest, yet an easy five minutes from town. We didn’t want to leave.
