Our modern guest studio in the south of Duisburg on the border with Düsseldorf is ideally suited for vacations in the Ruhr area and the surrounding cities as well as as as as a trade fair apartment when visiting Messe Düsseldorf (approx. 10 km) or Messe Essen (approx. 15 km). The S-Bahn (suburban train) stations Duisburg-Rahm and Duisburg-Großenbaum are very close by. Grocery stores are in walking distance. The recreational area of the Sechs-Seen-Platte is located in the immediate vicinity and invites you to extensive hiking.

The Duisburg houseboat Lore in the heart of the city

Our small 13 meter long houseboat Lore is located in the inner harbor of Duisburg, 3 minutes from the city center in one of the trendiest areas of the city: the inner harbour. The Lore has two spacious bedrooms, a roof terrace with lounge furniture, a small covered terrace, a living room with a direct view of the water, a kitchen and of course a bathroom with shower and toilet. The Lore is winter festival and can be booked 365 days a year. We have had three boats in the harbor since 2025.

Our recently renovated apartment in quiet Neudorf offers quick access to the main station (15 min by bus/train) as well as both university campuses (10 min walk) due to its central location. The zoo and the regatta course (Wedau) can also be reached within 20 minutes! You will stay on the 1st floor of our house, but enjoy privacy through your own entrance. From there, you can reach Duisburg Central Station in *8 minutes*, as well as DÜSSELDORF AIRPORT, and DÜSSELDORF Central Station in 20 minutes. Great connection in the Ruhr area. The S1 train and the A40, A42, A52, A59 and A3 highway access ramps are within 5 minutes.
