I am about an hour away but can come to the cabin if I'm needed. Nestled among pines, the cabin is set at the base of Mount Meeker. It's a 5-minute drive from Rocky Mountain National Park. A short walk away is a seasonal lodge that’s open from May to September which offers horseback riding and a convenience store. The sofa bed in the living room is a full, the sofa bed in the den is a queen.

Mountain cabin at 9200' elevation! Located at the end of a dirt road in a neighborhood, close to Golden Gate Canyon St Park with miles of hiking trails. Close to Boulder, Black Hawk casinos, Eldora. 60 min to DIA AWD or 4WD is highly recommended October through May. Woodstove is reccomended to be used for supplemental heat, wood is provided. That Dam Cabin!

This historic 309-square foot cabin was built in 1932 for men working on the Shadow Mountain dam. When we found it, we knew this would be the perfect getaway. Our cabin is 4 miles from downtown Grand Lake! It's a short drive to restaurants, shops, hiking, fishing, the beach and kayak/boat rentals. Head to Rocky Mountain National park to hike and see wildlife or stay home and enjoy s'mores around the fire. On a clear night the stars are absolutely breathtaking!
