Erin's Cottage in Merthyr Tydfil

We had a wonderful stay at Caroline’s place! The location is perfect—quiet, comfortable, and close to Pen y Fan and Big Pit where we spent some time with the kids. The house was spotless. When we needed help with the gas hob, Caroline responded and resolved it within 10 minutes—excellent support. Highly recommended for anyone exploring the Brecon Beacons!

Howfield Hotel - Deluxe King/Twin Room Shower

Excellent Stay at Howfield Hotel – Ideal for Business Travel I recently stayed at the Howfield Hotel during one of my frequent business trips to Merthyr and was thoroughly impressed. The room was lovely, featuring an ensuite shower and toilet, both of which were spotless and well-maintained. The décor was tasteful and finished to a high standard, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The room offered plenty of space, which made my stay comfortable and relaxing. The hotel's central location was perfect, with easy access to all the amenities I needed during my trip. It made getting around town incredibly convenient. As someone who travels to Merthyr regularly for work, I’m confident I’ll be booking again soon. Highly recommended for both business and leisure stays.

James' Place @ Brynawel - The Rafters

RosalineRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
This huge beautiful home on a hill had an amazing view. The suite is at the tippy top and feels secluded (quiet and private). The bed was super comfy. I only met the host when he found me wandering at the back having gone to the wrong door. James was kind and helpful. Easy walk to restaurants and bus. Great view from the suite.

3 Bed Modern House - Clare St

JohnRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Jamie was a fantastic host and answered all enquiries quickly. He was extremely flexible when one of our group asked to stay an extra night because of a business appointment. I unfortunately didn't see Jamie's request to leave the wheely bin out for collection, so must apologise to Jamie for that. Everything at the house house was spotless, so to keep it that way we hosed off our muddy mountain bike clothing outside. The only issue was not being able to dry everything fully without risking bringing water and debris into the house. A small thing, but I don't think some guests would be so considerate. I would highly recommend staying here, and will if I'm ever back at Bike Park Wales.

Home from home

I recently stayed at Stephen’s place for work, and it truly felt like a home away from home. The house was spotless and beautifully kept, offering a real sense of comfort and safety. Stephen is an incredibly welcoming and friendly host, I had such a great time and plenty of laughs! He’s also very knowledgeable about the area. I’ll definitely be returning, not just for work but also for a relaxing break. The location is ideal, so close to the Brecon Beacons, perfect for hiking and enjoying the stunning Welsh mountains. The views in the area are absolutely breathtaking. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the room was thoughtfully set up, complete with a kettle, a variety of teas, and a lovely view of the amazing garden. Thank you for sharing your home, Stephen. I’ll definitely be staying again! 😀
A serene scene features a flowing stream with smooth stones and lush greenery surrounding it. Water cascades over a low waterfall, creating a gentle sound. Sunlight filters through the trees, casting soft shadows and illuminating the tranquil landscape.

Stayed whilst visiting Bike Park Wales with my adult son. Loft apartment was ideal for us with a lounge to crash after an exhausting day. The pictures do not do the place justice as it's finished to an exquisite standard. Suzanne is a superhost and also very quiet on her own home (would have thought we were alone in the house). Would definitely book again if we return.
