You can get downtown and Yale in 10 minutes by car, or 15 minutes by bus using line D that goes direct to Downtown. Convenience store, Pizza place and Wine store in the corner (five minutes walk from home), also walk to the Marina and Anastasios Boat Cafe.

The bright, third floor walk-up apartment is in a 1890’s Victorian row home. We are located on a tree lined street, beside Wooster Square park, and ten minutes walk to Yale old campus and downtown New Haven. There is plenty of free street parking, out front. The full kitchen, separate living room, with desk & TV, bedroom, & bath with tub/shower, makes the apartment a cozy home-away-from-home, or vacation spot. It is great for weekend visits or longer extended stays.

Maritime Neighborhood Family/Pet Friendly

Quaint historic neighborhood, family and pet friendly. We do charge $20 fee for pet guests. We are located 1.5 blocks to Quinnipiac River canoe launch, walk to park/ dog walking areas. The original house was built around 1840 and gives off an urban farm/green space vibe. New floors in bedroom/dining area and bathroom provide modern luxury. Windows on the east, south and west walls let in plenty of light. Minutes to I-95, I-91, and Union Station. We charge $20 pet fee!

Cozy East Rock apartment

A spacious and serene space in the heart of East Rock inside a historic home. It is a 5 min drive (or 20 min walk) from Yale's campus and there is a shuttle stop right next to the house on Whitney (blue/orange lines). The private bedroom has a king bed and a shower/bathroom. The sofa in the living room converts to a second bed (queen width) and a second full bathroom (with shower and tub) is located by the kitchen.

Peaceful, quiet and safe neighborhood (good proximity to New Haven’s East Rock neighborhood as well). Patricia is proactive about communication and is welcoming and cordial, doing her best to make your stay feel like you’re in your own home. Room is clean and comfortable with its own fan, tv, plenty of pillows and towels provided. Walls are decently thick, which is good, as there’s a good chance you will be sharing the house with Patricia and/or other guests. Never saw the other person staying there though, so you will have a decent amount of privacy all things considered. All in all, this is a great, relatively cheap option if you have business in New Haven. Would recommend.

I stayed a week in early June, very happy with the place. Well worth the money. The apartment is newly renovated and clean. There was an AC in the bedroom, which really helped on hot days! The house in near a supermarket, which is convenient. The neighborhood is not gentrified, but it's only a 15-min walk away from the central campus, so overall - a great deal.

Wow for the price this was 5 Stars, Blanca who I didn’t not meet is really hospitable and cares about providing beautiful well thought out accommodation for her guests. The size of the bedroom is generous and has every thing you need. The small touches she made in every nook, were really appreciated. The neighborhood and views of the nearby water front was amazing. The outside of her home school was impressive and so inviting. What wowed me was the continental breakfast, so much healthy options better than a hotel. I had a nearby tour at Yale university and took my 15 year old which was a dream come true. Thanks to Blanca having Yale as a nearby place to visit within just 2 miles. I will definitely be taking Blancas hosting excellence, for my own airbnb. 5 stars for Blanca and Hubby!!

Nice condo with great amenities. Within walking distance to many great places. What I was most impressed by was their “guest portal” that included very detailed check-in instructions, answers to commonly asked questions, and suggestions for restaurants etc. That, along with the hosts quick responses, made everything easy. The little extras like toothbrushes, toothpaste, body lotion, makeup remover, and laundry and dishwasher detergents were also a nice touch.
