Weitzel's "Big Home" Suite

The first parts of the estate were built in 1824. The suite (approx. 70 square meters) with veranda (16 square meters) was added and expanded in 2007. The rooms are lovingly equipped and offer everything your heart desires: in winter cuddly hours in front of the fireplace, in summer relaxing evenings with a glass of wine on the porch. We focused on a relaxed and inviting atmosphere to linger in the furnishings. The suite offers peace and quiet and the fully glazed fireplace room invites you to dream.

Hohenstein is not a transit point and is very quiet at about 360 m altitude. Nearest EK stores are 3.5 km away. The castle Hohenstein (over 800 years old, 150 m away) offers castle festivals for six weeks in the summer and is open daily from 10.00 to 18.00 for. Three beautiful golf courses are about 25 minutes away. The hiking trails "Rheinsteig", "Burgensteig", "Wispertal" and the "Rheingau-Riesling-Route" can be reached quickly. Guests with bikes get their money's worth, e-bikes would be great.

Die offene Atelierwohnung im Torhaus ist Teil einer ausgebauten Hofreite aus dem 17. Jahrhundert. Alte Hölzer und freigelegtes Fachwerk sind von Rosenstöcken und einem wunderschönen Garten umgeben. Beim Einrichten haben wir großen Wert auf Nachhaltigkeit gelegt. Bestehendes wurde auf- und umgearbeitet. Ein Großteil der Leuchten, Textilien sowie die Bilder stammen aus unserem Atelier.
