Vacation rentals in Dörphof

We (a family with 2 children/teenagers) spent the week before Easter in Elke's vacation home in Großwaabs. The house and garden are really beautifully prepared, with many cozy and comfortable places and corners. Everything is very clean and functional: There really is every amenity you could need for a vacation stay. We found it practical that spices, oil and vinegar are available. This saves a lot of shopping and transportation costs. In our opinion, traveling by public transport is recommended. This is very well organized: During the week, buses run every hour from/to Großwaabs. This allows almost all excursions to be planned without any problems. The Baltic Sea and the neighboring village of Damp are within easy walking distance of the house. Our highlight: On Easter Sunday morning, a little bunny hopped through the garden and could be observed through the window. Conclusion: We had wonderful days and will definitely be back.

Very cozy, idyllic apartment with cabin feeling on the edge of the forest. Perfect for a break in the countryside and nature to escape the hustle and bustle. The apartment is located in a yard with very nice, helpful neighbors. There are also nice walks on the water, the Schlei is within walking distance. We also felt very comfortable in the apartment itself. Had a super relaxing, beautiful time there.

We had a great time at Juliet's mobile home. The beach is within walking distance and there are a lot of offers on the grounds and nearby, especially for the kids. It is definitely a place designed for families and you could even take care of yourself completely on the premises (shopping, food, leisure), which of course is a bit more expensive. We can fully recommend this property.

The place is very nice, modern and fully equipped. Everything you need is there. Electric shutters and sight/sun protection plates on all windows, which is really great. It is wonderfully quiet, the property is very beautifully designed, extremely well maintained and generous. There are several seating options in the garden, even a beach chair. Plus lots of lawn to play for people and dogs. There were four of us in the house with already larger children (13&17) and the house is just sufficiently large for that. With smaller children or two, it is optimal. However, we still felt very comfortable. Nikolai is a great host. Very friendly, always approachable and generous. The surroundings offer many opportunities for activities and with Eckernförde & Kappeln nice towns nearby. The Schlei is suitable for hikes and bike rides.

The cottage is visually very appealing, in addition to the fantastic location in wonderful tranquility. In the house you feel right at home, everything is harmonious and cozy. We were there with 6 people and two dogs. The bedrooms on the upper floor each have their own shower room, in the basement only one room has direct access, from the other bedroom you have to go through this room. It wasn't a problem for us now, but with 8 adults it might be a little annoying. The huge living-dining room with kitchen is very bright and you have a fantastic view. Through the open area incl. stairs and the wooden construction, it is of course more sound-permeable. When the weather is nice, you can make yourself comfortable on the large balcony on the lake side or sunbathe in the beautiful beach chair. Unfortunately, the garden is not fenced, which can be problematic with dogs. Communication with the rental agency was very good. We felt very comfortable!

The property is very central and at the same time privately located in the countryside. The house is well maintained and everything needed is available. We felt very comfortable and very happy to come back.

Since I accompanied my husband to the surgery with subsequent rehab for 11 days, I chose the apartment. Damp would not be the place I would choose for my vacation. Too many people, huge concrete buildings that are visually outdated, but a good infrastructure. A large Edeka, several restaurants, etc. The apartment was well appointed and furnished. There is more than listed in the description. The bed is 160x200 (looks smaller in the photo) and very comfy. It's just under the window where there's no blackout. 2 sliding curtains (decoration only) rattle on the bed frame when windy. There is plenty of storage space throughout the apartment. The kitchen is high quality and equipped with an induction hob. There are no basic amenities. Also towels and linens are only optional. Caroline is a real estate agent in the house, where you can pick up the key. Communication was poor. Questions about details were not answered

Beautiful small apartment right on the harbor of Kappeln with great views and centrally located. I liked the loving furnishings and the great balcony best - strawberries are growing there. Great for a short getaway on the Schlei.
