The Cottage for Two

The Cottage was built in the late 1930's for a local church and was used as a Sunday school room, for receptions, etc.. In 2004 we relocated the Hut, as it was once called, to this site and restored it to it's existing condition, staying with it's late 30's roots. It and main house sets on 5 beautifully landscaped acres and is located only 7 minutes from historic downtown Summerville. Please note that this is NOT INTENDED AS A VENUE and is a SHARED POOL, not exclusive to the pool house guest.

For leisure, we recommend relaxing out back, by the pond, with the rockers provided in the closet to watch the sunset over the water.

It sits above a detached garage across the driveway from the owners among a gorgeous driveway of tall pines. We are just 9 miles from Volvo/ Camp Hall & 2.5 miles from I-26, making it convenient to go explore anywhere in the Charleston area.

🚭 Zero tolerance policy for smoking/vaping on the property, even outside. Due to allergies, we cannot accommodate animals of any size or kind. This listing is for the detached guesthouse only, the main house is a separate rental. 2/19/26- Note: There is new construction going on in the lots behind the house. I haven't had any feedback about it affecting any guests so far.
