Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Divarata

We had a fabulous week staying in this wonderful property. It’s located near to some of the most beautiful coves and beaches there are in Kefalonia. The village is friendly and a local shop is a few minutes walk away. The actual property is fantastic. It’s beautiful, spacious, clean and homely. There is lots of sociable space to hang out in. Comfortable bedrooms. Clean everywhere and multiple spaces to eat outside and enjoy the forest and sea views. Maria’s communication was excellent. Very clear and very helpful. She was super responsive to any queries and a fantastic host. We would highly recommend this property.

It was our first visit to the island and we explored a lot! We are so happy we chose this home. It was exactly as described. The views were wonderful. We enjoyed the patio each morning and night. It was very peaceful. The bed and pillows were the most comfortable in our travels between 3 rentals, We were fortunate that grapefruit and lemons were in season. What a treat those gifts were. I prepared dinner on our last night and all I needed was available and clean! The home was co clean. It was such a please to speak often with this couple. I’ll de dreaming of our stay.

An incredible villa. As others have said, the pictures do not do it justice. The outdoor areas are particularly ‘wow’. The infinity pool is spotless, and has incredible views out across Sivota bay. The loungers are so comfy, and the vine canopy idyllic. We spent many happy afternoons chilling around the pool, listening to music and reading books. The terrace is equally lovely, with the same fantastic views. And the addition of the BBQ and outdoor kitchen meant we could enjoy authentic home cooked fare as the sunset. A really magical place. Inside there’s everything you need; a well stocked kitchen, a hot shower, plentiful towels and very comfy beds. Plenty big enough for four adults. George was a great host - rapid to respond, very accommodating of requests, and friendly to a tee. Something he shares with his parents, who gave us the most special of welcomes on check in! Thank you George.

We had the most wonderful stay with our two children. The house is perfect with so many amenities. All the appliances are high quality and basically brand new! We had everything we needed and more. The pool and bbq area is fantastic. The views beautiful. Location is private but easy to get to other locations. We loved visiting Sami and the Melissani Cave’s not to be missed. The host went above and beyond, always responsive and kind. We highly recommend the house and have already told family and friends about it!

An absolute gem of a place. Emma and her mother made our stay simply perfect by providing everything we could have asked for and more. The spacious and comfy house was easy to find and super clean, offering every comfort needed. It offers a lot of privacy and quiet, along with incredible views of the surrounding sea and mountains (the visiting cats were a big plus!). It's location also makes it easy to get to one of the beautiful beaches or a great place to eat after only a short drive. We had an amazing time here and can't wait for a chance to return. An amazing holiday, with friendly and very helpful hosts in Sybille and Eckhard. The house was spotless and extremely well equipped, the pool is stunning and the views to die for. Lots of seating around the property to maximise the shade and fans or air con in the bedrooms at night. We spent time in Agios Nikolais at the beach and in the friendly cafe perched over the water. Favourite restaurant among many only 10 minutes drive away was The Old Windmill. Definitely the best holiday we have had for a long time.

I have stayed in many houses and met many hosts. But I can confidently say that Petros and Maria are best hosts I have ever met! Continuously trying to help their guests, all requests and questions are responded with a big smile, understanding, empathy and compassion. The moment we stepped inside the house they made us feel like we are part of their family. The house is based inside an olive tree farm and the land is shared with 3 more houses. There are lovely animals around, dogs and cats… We just loved it! Every time you come home you’ll have Malou (the cutest dog I’ve ever seen) cheering your arrival! The internet in the island is a bit slow but there is nothing that can be done. Petros even brought another router to help us! It is related with the island. I miss the farm already!

Villa Amoudia was perfect for our needs. The Villa was exactly as described in the photos and details, and the location was ideal; close to village, great views and peaceful. The host Barbara was very friendly and responsive. We are thinking of returning!

INCREDIBLE STAY! This place was everything we hoped for and more. The studio was spotless, cozy, and beautifully set up. The hosts were absolutely amazing—so warm and welcoming. We were greeted with delicious home-cooked local food and fresh eggs straight from their farm (honestly, the best eggs we’ve ever had!). We also did a boat tour with our host and later took the boat out on our own—highly recommend exploring the area by boat, it was such a highlight of our trip. The location was peaceful and relaxing, yet still really convenient for getting around. We loved every minute of our stay and would come back in a heartbeat!

Alexandra and the team are wonderful, responsive and friendly. the space and the pool is clean and the kitchen is fully equipped with everything we needed. the wifi was fast and the beds were so comfortable. well worth the price. karavamylos is a beautiful little town. can't recommend enough!

We saw Sarakiniko cottage last time we visited Poros Kefalonia and always wanted to stay there and we were so happy we came back. We had a lovely relaxing week and so thankful to Babis and his wife who were wonderful hosts, thanks so much!

We had a brilliant holiday in Fiscardo and staying at Villa Dioni was the perfect place to be. The location is breathtaking (make sure you put your foot down to power a car up the drive!) with spectacular views of the ocean and Assos in the distance. The photos don’t do the villa justice… it’s bigger and more spacious than they look. Lovely quality fittings, very comfortable beds and a great pool. Highly recommend as a base to explore this beautiful island. Many thanks Demi and Anna.

Wow! This villa is beautiful and perfect for our family of 8. Ben and Claire couldn't help us enough and responded to us quickly if needed. We were lucky enough to stay for 10 days, half of which were spent chilling at the villa, playing in the pool and using the amazing facilities . Although a rental car is helpful getting around the island, there is a lot of lovely restaurants, bars and beaches a short drive away. We explored around the island, including Fiskardo and Antisamos, which are breathtaking. Thank you for having us, we'd be back in1 a heart beat!

We booked this villa due to a last minute change in our itinerary. Dani reached out right away, and provided us with checkin instructions, local restaurants/shop recommendations, an area guide, etc. It was most helpful. We mistakenly arrived a day early and thankfully Dani was able to accommodate the additional night. She was very responsive, replying almost immediately every time I reached out with questions, concerns. The villa was lovely, clean, well equipped, and those views! Wow! We enjoyed the large private pool every night, and taking our breakfast on the expansive outdoor terrace in the mornings. The villa is located about 5 min drive outside of Argostoli. Set up on a hill side, in a private & quiet area. I would recommend having a car but we also found the villa to be walkable to several lovely restaurants (Sto Psito - highly recommend dining here), Kaminia Beach, Gradaki Beach, a mini market, and several other shops. All in all, we had a wonderful stay & would return. Cheers!

Magdalini and her husband welcomed us in person and immediately proved to be friendly and extremely hospitable. The apartment was exactly as shown in the photos, very clean and with attention to the smallest details. They also provided us with a welcome “kit” with water, fruit, yogurt, cookies, jams and more. They gave us valuable information about the amenities in the area and the restaurants. Magdalini hosts you making you feel at home, she takes care of you in a non-intrusive but present way. If you need to, you know you can count on her and her husband, they are a point of reference during your vacation. They host you as they would old friends. We felt at home. We were really sorry to have to leave.

Lovely stay! A 2-4 minute walk from Divarata restaurants and supermarkets. A 5-8 minute drive to the beautiful Myrtos Beach. The apartment had great views , easy access.

We would like to warmly thank our host for their welcome and availability throughout our stay. The little personalized touches of our arrival. This really increased the quality of our stay. The villa was amazing and perfectly matched the description and was even more wonderful in real life than in the photos. Thanks again for everything to our host, we hope to see you again next year!

We had a wonderful holidays in Kostis' house. Everything was perfect. The two terraces were great for our breakfasts and aperitifs. There was anything you may need, dishwasher and washing machine included. The location was ideal to reach several beautiful beaches and nice tavernas as Black Sheep Grill, Maklithari or Alexandros. Kostis was a very kind and helpful host. It was a perfect week :-)

The house was so beautiful with a stunning view. The neighbourhood were so friendly and we felt so welcome and safe in the whole area. Nearby were some amazing local restaurants just a small walk away! The host was so welcoming and helpful throughout with sending recommendations and making sure we were okay. There were some local biscuits and bread on arrival and we were also gifted some little local gifts to take home with us which was so heartwarming. 🥰 We felt so welcome in the beautiful home and we definitely recommend it to anyone wishing to visit the beautiful island of Kephalonia🌺🌺

Makis and his family were such kind hosts who made us feel so at ease and welcomed for our stay! The idyllic cottage has everything you need to be comfortable and self-sufficient, with a wonderful patio space under the grape vines where we enjoyed sitting in the shade with our meals. The location is quiet with lots of birdsong and the friendly sounds of the chickens and geese from across the yard. If you choose to stay at this delightful Airbnb you will receive unmatched warmth and hospitality from a wonderful family on a marvellous island!

We enjoyed the stay at Efthalia, the surrounding was just nice - view at hills. Perfect tavernas in Makriotika, not so much tourists, so it has local village vibe. It was very good base location to explore west/north/east Kefalonia. The studio was situated next to one of Makriotika taverna. The studio was spacious enough for 2 persons. The kitchen was just okay to prepare breakfast. I would recommend Efthalia studio for time visit in Kefalonia.
