It’s hard to even describe the beauty of this place, the cottage was perfect and the amenities are wonderful, everything you need to have a great time. The grounds are truly breathtaking, there is a real magic about this property, loved every minute. Gerard and Ann were excellent hosts, thank you!

My family stayed at Esther's place for 4 nights. We had the most wonderful time! The house has beautiful views of the ocean and is a short walk from both Inchydoney beach and the hotel. The house was clean and spacious with room for the whole family including our dog. Esther was welcoming and provided lots of great recommendations for the local area. We would definitely recommend Esther's place to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday by the beach!

Had a lovely few days away staying in Kate's accommodation. She was very helpful and great to deal with. The accommodation was perfect for a quiet getaway and met all of our needs, would recommend to a friend.

I could not recommend a stay at these poolside cottages enough! Great value for money. Ideal for a romantic short break away. The location is perfect and the cottage is stocked with everything you could possibly need. The nearby town Clonakilty is worth a trip to and is easily accessible by car or taxi,

We had a wonderful stay! The house was absolutely perfect for our family of two adults and three children — clean, modern, and very comfortable. Everything was so thoughtfully prepared, from the fresh scones on arrival to the local ice cream, milk, and butter, which were lovely touches that made us feel right at home. The hot tub was a real treat and the perfect way to relax after a busy day exploring the area. There’s so much to do nearby — our family especially enjoyed paddle boarding and kayaking in Rosscarbery. Clonakilty is a charming town with great spots for shopping, coffee, and lunch, and the Clonakilty Pudding factory tour was a fun and unique experience. We’d definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and well-equipped base to explore this beautiful part of Ireland.

Gérards place is a must-stay if staying in Clonakilty. We swam every day in the heated pool, played tennis in the afternoon in their private tennis court and walked the local area as well. Stunning grounds to walk as well around the property. 100% would stay again Thank you Connor

It was a really enjoyable stay, host was perfect very friendly, accommodating and onhand when necessary. The house was kept immaculate with lots of space and a beautiful view of horses and the sea. It's the perfect location half way between dingle and tralee. Thank you 😊

Eileen and Robert were perfect hosts. They could not have been more helpful and the cottage was spotlessly clean. The location was as excellent for touring and our hosts had given us excellent advise of where to visit. This was our first Air B@B and everything was perfect. We will definitely be going back in the future.

The most beautiful place and the most accommodating host we have stayed with in Ireland or the UK. They went the extra mile with small gestures to make us feel welcome. Can’t recommend highly enough.

I have stayed in this cottage quite a few times over the years - and I always enjoy it immensely. The cottage is lovely, decorated in a style that suits its age, and set in the most stunning scenery. It feels as though you're in the middle of nowhere - it is so quiet the deer come right up to the patch of grass in front of the house in the evenings and there are so many different birds it's almost like an orchestra - but you're definitely not: There are two good restaurants in the area, a nice pub near a harbour, a lunchroom in gorgeous gardens and a very well stocked shop-and-tearoom only a 20 minute drive away. So yes, I will come again!

I had a lovely two days here, on a spontaneous solo road trip to chase the sun, the grounds were absolutely stunning with great walks to the lighthouse and into town, the beach was beautiful and water lead and crisp, I thought I was in Greece for a sec there!

Anne was a great host, me and my family were extremely happy by her kindness and hospitality and her delicious coffee cake. Her house is comfy and beautiful, makes you feel like you are home. The farm tour and watching cows was one of our trip highlights. We look forward to be back again

Barrow Lodge in County Kerry is a real gem, and it's all thanks to Clodagh and Niall! They were absolutely fantastic hosts. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel so welcome, and nothing was too much trouble. The accommodation itself was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend. Their local knowledge was invaluable, helping us discover some amazing spots in the area. If you're looking for a warm welcome and a great stay, I highly recommend Barrow Lodge! We enjoyed our stay in this lovely cottage in beautiful surroundings, with a view over the waters of Dingle Bay. Place was clean, comfortable and everything was in working condition. We didn't really cook, but the cottage is very well stocked with basics, utensils, pots and pans should you wish to do so. The Hosts were very responsive, and contacted us in advance to let us know that early check in was available if needed. They live nearby and were on hand for check in, providing much appreciated advice on sightseeing, driving conditions and places to eat. The fridge was stocked with with everything to make breakfast as well as some extra treats. We felt very much at home and hope to come sometime.

The location is beautiful, we loved how quiet it was at night. And still so close to the venue we had to go, and the town centre. We all loved being welcomed by the dogs! We think is the most complete place we stayed in Ireland so far, the kitchen had absolutely everything you could have forgotten to bring for cooking, plenty of tableware, and being honest the features and design I'd love in my own. The beds were comfortable, the wardrobe is huge. The bathroom has a beautiful design, and we didn't even unpacked our own shampoo and gel, as it had plenty of it all. The laundry room is very convenient, the house was warm, with good insulation. It was a very short, lovely stay, super comfortable and we hope it is available on our next visit to Killarney.

This cottage is wonderful and Gary’s hospitality is amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it as an experience in Irish living. This 300 year old cottage is well maintained and immaculate. Gary drove for the portion of our trip to the Ring of Kerry and the Dingle Peninsula making our travel relaxing and informative. Our 4 day stay was super, stunning location, comfortable bed, fluffy towels, recycling bins, well equipped kitchen. No breakfast but that seems to be the norm. We would happily stay there again.

This was such a charming and cozy home! We spent two nights here and really enjoyed it. We joked that it felt a bit like camping - it has all the essentials without being indulgent. For us, it was perfect and exactly what we needed after several travel-heavy days. The space is thoughtfully equipped with everything you might need - tea, salt and pepper, a full kitchen. The bed was a bit firm for us, but my partner is also a giant, so that may have played a role. The host was very responsive and shared loads of great local suggestions. We’d absolutely stay here again!
