Cabin vacation rentals in Dillard

We had a wonderful family time at Parker’s cabin. Has everything you may need to enjoy your time in the secluded woods of NC. Very private but with all the amenities you may need. Internet was good and the place very comfortable. It was quite rainy during our stay but we had no issues staying in and enjoying the hot tub from time to time. Would fully recommend this place to any one. Thank you Parker!

Little Woodchuck was the perfect getaway. The cabin is beautiful, extremely clean, and feels tucked away in its own private little corner of the woods. Everything about it felt calm and peaceful from the moment we arrived. The hot tub was a highlight it was so relaxing and peaceful. We also loved the big deck and spent a lot of time just enjoying the quiet and fresh air. Inside, everything was comfortable and thoughtfully set up. The bed was cozy, the bathroom was modern and clean, and the whole space just felt really well cared for.

Unbelievable cabin!! I took my wife here to celebrate her 40th and reconnect from a busy life with three kids and opposite schedules. Words are not enough to describe how amazing our stay was. Farm fresh eggs, a fire ready to start, and even a special literary surprise were just a few of the little touches that brought our stay to another level. Thomas and Mallory were always available, checked in on us to make sure our stay was smooth and provided wonderful recommendations for the area. We hated leaving but cannot wait to return one day!

Our stay at Little Bear Creek was delightful ! The house was immaculate with so many surprises- a basket with s’mores supplies, extra chips, lots of spices, extra beach towels, picnic blanket and cooler, shampoos and conditioners, lots of games for kids and adults and even the cloth tablecloths was a nice touch!! My grandchildren loved the creek area-especially the tree phone! The beds were comfortable and the addition of multiple charging ports in each room was very helpful. Patti was quick to respond to my messages. We thoroughly enjoyed being there! Thank you for providing such a wonderful place for our annual mountain trip with our grandchildren!!

Me and my husband searched for the perfect romantic getaway for our late honeymoon/ 1 year anniversary. When we came across Knotty But Nice we were sold! The view was immaculate, pictures do not do justice. The house was extremely clean and cozy. The hot tub was clean and so relaxing. Overall peaceful and private! The drive up was pretty scary the first time, I’m definitely glad that we had an SUV! But 10/10 recommend! We are already planning another trip in the fall. Thanks Dana & Trish! 😊

This is the perfect Airbnb for a vacation in the mountains! I have stayed here twice and will be back again! The house is very comfortable and has everything you need. Sitting in the hot tub at night is very relaxing and you can see so many stars out. Be sure to explore all of the waterfalls in the area to!

Truly magical! Definitely recommend for a peaceful escape. Perfect to unwind and recharge.

Peaceful, private wooden oasis. We enjoyed seeing all the deer in the area. We felt it was a great location right between all the mountain towns, great for finding hiking locations, parks, museums, and great restaurants. Then spending our nights in a cozy private cabin in the woods, playing games and having family movie nights or siting on the porch enjoying the rain & lighting show.

We really enjoyed our stay! It was very quiet and peaceful there. The view was breathtaking. Enjoyed sitting on the deck. The swing and rocking chairs made it relaxing. This was a quick getaway to celebrate a birthday. Franklin has really neat antique shops. We really enjoyed the Tartan museum and store.

It was a gorgeous stay. The host was very responsive, as well as flexible, giving us a tour of the area upon arrival. The location was gorgeous and peaceful. Highly recommend!!

This was one of my favorite Air BNB’s to date! Everything was phenomenal and it was the perfect weekend getaway. Super secluded and everything as described. We look forward to staying here again in the future.

5 Stars! Beautiful location, waterfall is actually located right outside the patio with a creek flowing by. The view is incredible. The house itself is so welcoming and comfortable that I truly felt as if I was a friend’s house. I totally recommend and plan on going back for a longer stay. Hosts were responsive and helpful. Our family stayed here to attend my father’s funeral. The setting was peaceful and allowed grandkids to enjoy nature and each other at otherwise stressful time. It allowed all of us to stay together and function as a family which we desperately needed. I always need a place to prepare a meal because of a special diet and this allowed me to do that and feed my family at the same time.

I loved that it was not as sterile as some places. Hillary added a few extra touches...tea bags, eggs, cookies, condiments and there were a few spices and olive oil (though I brought my own), making it feel more like a home. The furniture was very comfortable and the location is beautiful.

Heather’s place was a great retreat! The cabin was well appointed with interesting decor and a comfortable bed. She had everything one needs for a restful stay from the snacks in the cupboard to the drinks in the fridge. The shower had good water pressure with hot water. Plenty of clean, soft towels were set out ready for you. The landscape had to be my favorite! She takes great pride in offering a variety of flowering plants in the front garden. The moss garden was my favorite! It reminded me of my childhood and playing in the woods. The moss was always my carpet in my fairy home.😁 There are lots of seating outside to accommodate your nature soaking. It rained when we were there and so we did not use the fire chimney but it was a nice feature given the right time. We definitely be back to the Locust Log Cabin whenever we want a quick getaway. We had an exceptional stay at The Nest in Franklin. The cabin was gorgeous and very comfortable. Loved the uncluttered decor. The covered decks and view…amazing. Ian and Caroline were easy to contact and responded promptly to questions. Also appreciated that check out did not involve a long list of chores before we left. We enjoyed the privacy and beautiful scenery of the cabin and our trips to area towns and attractions kept us busy. Also we scouted many streams and rivers for fishing fun. Hope to return and stay at The Nest again!

We had a lovely Memorial Day weekend here and everything was wonderful. Comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen, lots of wood for the fire pit, s’mores sticks, towels for the hot tub. The view was worth the whole price. We played lots of pool and spent a lot of time in the hot tub. Being able to take really great hikes from right out the front door was a plus as well. We are already planning a return trip!

Carlos isn't just a host for a place to stay, he wants to help be a part of the experience. Not only was he always responsive to questions, but also was proactive in sending ideas and updates of things that were going on in the town. One could tell that he wanted us to have a great time on our trip and not just stay in his fabulous cabin. It was very clean, organized, and homey. He had everything you could think of needing therefore it didn't feel like a rental, but we felt like we were home. Hot water was always available and plenty. The washer and dryer were a nice addition...we came home with all clean clothes. Drive was paved the entire way and it was easy to find (GPS actually took us 3 different ways, but all ended at the cabin). Definitely a place we will return to if in the area and will recommend to others, too.

This is the perfect setting for getting some quiet time. Also, close to all shopping. Visited Black Mountain. Just a 2 minute rise. I strongly recommend this get-away for a couple. Or, a couple with 2 children. Warning…. Please use caution when using the steps to the upstairs. Maureen states this in her message.

We had a great stay at Dianne's place. Clean, comfortable furniture and beds. Quiet and peaceful--beautiful yard with the creek running behind the house. Everything was exactly as described and pictured. About 6 miles from town so not far for groceries, restaurants, etc. Not one complaint. Would definitely stay again.

This cabin was absolute perfection! And to learn the history behind it was also neat. The location is private and remote, we could hardly hear the traffic from the highway and the mountain is beautiful in the spring with the mountain laurel blooming. We travelled with our 4 yo and the cabin was perfect for us, especially the screened in porch. We enjoyed the fire pit and the trail behind the cabin. We were close to everything we wanted to do, including stuff in NC and SC. The cabin was clean and so comfortable. We had absolutely zero complaints. Stacy is an amazing host and easy to get a hold of with questions. We will definitely be staying again.
