Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Diemelsee

We stayed at Anita's place for the second time. As it was two years ago, it was very clean. The space complies with the descriptions. The sauna works great and warms up relatively quickly. The surrounding area is also great, there are lots of nice things to do. We missed the no longer available hot tub (which was clearly not included in photos or the description), but otherwise everything was great. Best regards :)

We had a very nice one in Daniela's charming cottage. We did not lack anything on site and Daniela was always available for questions. We particularly liked the private location of the cottage and the beautiful garden in which we could make ourselves comfortable in nice weather. However, it should be noted that the noise, the nearby highway, which caused a subtle background noise at least during the day. Due to the good connection, however, we were able to reach beautiful routes to explore and hike in a few minutes' drive. Overall, we were very satisfied and can definitely recommend a stay.

The accommodation is extremely well-equipped. Beautiful furniture and a well-equipped kitchen make it easy to feel right at home. 🙏🏽 The communication in advance was super good and everything was as described. Definitely recommended. If you arrive with several cars, then definitely check out the parking situation in advance, there are only 2 parking spaces at the house.

We had a very nice weekend. Everything was very clear, from check-in to amenities. The latter was phenomenal and perfectly suited to a group trip. The landscape and the half-timbered style of the surrounding villages and the house itself were absolutely idyllic and at the nearby Edertalsperre you could do something.

A great house, a quiet location. Perfect for up to 10 guests. The space is there. Check-in worked wonderfully, communication from the host was fast and reliable. He makes a friendly impression. The house really has everything you need. The garden is huge and everything is very well maintained. We can't wait for the next visit.

Very nice, superbly furnished chalet with attention to detail. We enjoyed the days here very much, great location overlooking the Sauerland. High-quality modern yet cozy decor, the sauna overlooking the mountains is the highlight. We will be happy to come back :)

We spent an extended weekend in this great house with 8 people and were completely thrilled, especially by the diverse and large lounges and the park-like outdoor area. The amenities are more than extensive and we didn't miss anything. The house with its ambiance and tasteful decor is truly one of a kind. Anne gave a tour of the house, as well as tips on shopping and dining options in the area. She was also always available for questions. We definitely want to come back.

We were on vacation with a group of good friends. Very nice cottage with small sauna. Above all, the quiet location is noteworthy! It was really a nice, relaxing break. Exactly what we expected! :)

We felt very comfortable at the family reunion in the courtyard. The apartment is wonderfully quiet and has a very nicely designed garden and outdoor area. You can go for walks and hikes directly on site. The surroundings of Wolfhagen offer very good excursion possibilities with Kassel, the Edersee and many culturally interesting towns. Annette and her husband were always available for questions and even offered us a parking space in the barn to protect us from hail in the event of a thunderstorm. We will be happy to come back!

We had booked an overnight stay. The communication with Susanne was friendly and totally straightforward. Check-in was also flexible and we were even able to pick up the key a little earlier. The apartment is beautiful and ideal for a short trip. In the immediate vicinity in the village, there are shops, cafes and restaurants, a little further then beautiful areas for walking, hiking and swimming. I highly recommend staying at Susanne's :)

It was a really nice apartment that left nothing to be desired 😍 the only thing would be maybe fly screens 🙃 The large balcony was just perfect and also that you could see the playground from there. A small stream was nice to play and cool off in. No shops were accessible 😊 on foot, but we had already seen that before. The refrigerator is a bit small for 7 (sufficient for a weekend) The space was well used, in the chamber you could store something, in the kitchen there was unfortunately no empty cupboard for things that do not belong in the refrigerator. Our children and we felt very comfortable, the beautiful decoration made it almost like home ❤️

Everything was great! The beds were very cozy and the use of the wellness area was definitely a highlight.

We spent a very nice extended weekend in the old forest house and were very enthusiastic about the apartment, where nothing was missing (especially in the kitchen) and everything is visually so beautifully coordinated that you could only feel comfortable. We also particularly liked the garden and the location on the edge of the forest. You can start a hike directly, e.g. to the Dalheim Monastery or on the forest adventure trail. Helen's mother welcomed us very warmly and quickly answered and supported us with small questions. We will definitely come back when we are back in the area, it is a very relaxing place. Fantastic apartment in a great environment. We spent 2 nights here with our two children (3 and 8) and explored Fritzlar, the National Park and Kassel Wilhelmshöhe from there. The playground right next to the house was particularly liked by the children and Wolfgang and Simone are great hosts! The old rectory is beautiful! We will be happy to come back.

A spacious and very well furnished apartment with a great view of the Biggesee. The very beautiful surroundings invite you to various outdoor activities, and new views of the lake and the landscape can always be discovered. Stephanie was very friendly and helpful in her communication. An absolute recommendation for a little break!

We were very satisfied with the accommodation. Check-in was very straightforward directly through Oli as the host. The apartment is very nice, absolutely clean and matches the pictures. It is quietly located in the countryside in Altenkleusheim without traffic noise, etc. On the small terrace you can relax and enjoy a coffee, tea or wine with a view of the garden. The amenities are good, you can find everything you need. The highlight for us was the sauna, which we used on two rainy days of our stay. Cuddling up to the fireplace in the living room afterwards is already premium🤩. And the surroundings are beautiful. Hiking on the Listertalsperre, on the Biggesee & Co. is fun and ensures pure relaxation and a good mood. Oli as a host was very attentive and always available/responds quickly to messages and also gave us great tips for exploring the area. We will therefore be happy to come back☺️.

We were in this wonderful Airbnb for the second time and relaxed nicely, enjoyed the view of Hercules, enjoyed the loving address of the hostess, cooked in the well-equipped kitchen and slept very well. We'll be back for sure! Kassel is a great city. And the apartment invites you to linger.

We stayed at Merle's cottage for 2 nights due to a wedding we had there. The cottage is very nicely located right in the center but still quiet. It is very cozy, tasteful and very clean. Sufficient parking space in the neighbourhood.

Very nice apartment in a beautiful setting. It is very clean and we lacked nothing for such a stay. Shopping facilities can be reached quickly by car and the possibilities for the children are sufficient. The Spielberg was the reason for our stay, it is great and if the weather deems it necessary, you have swimming pools nearby.

It is a very nice apartment where everything you need is present. Cozy decor and neatly clean. Netflix on the TV that allows you to log in with your own account. And good beds. It is in the built-up area in a quiet location next to a reasonably large lake. Lots of space to let the dog out or swim. And within walking distance of Bad Lippspringe, which you can reach via a beautiful route through the park. In Bad Lippspringe, there are a few restaurants and various shops. Beautiful hiking trails in the area. About 20 km away you have Detmold, a very nice town with many restaurants and shops. We had a wonderful week and will definitely come back to Valentina if we come back to the area.

Since we already spent last weekend in the beautiful apartment, I can only add to my last review that the beds are super comfortable and Dimi always responds very quickly and is always there to help and advise. If we ever find ourselves in this area again, we would definitely book Dimi's apartment.
