Vacation rentals in Dhundi

Last month (June 2023) we visited Himchal Pradesh. After spending few days in Manali we decided to stay at Ibex Homestay, Koksar and stayed there for 2 days. And it turned out to be my best decision in my entire Himachal tour. Whatever I can say about Captain Ji(owner of Ibex home stay) will be very little. He is really very humble, caring person and he is ready to help you any time.. He made our stay very comfortable. Captain Ji and his entire family’s friendly behaviour will never let you feel that you are away from your home. We were overwhelmed by their hospitality. Rooms were very clean and beautifully furnished. Foods were really very delicious. If you want then they will introduce you to their local foods like momos, soup, and thukpas etc. which we enjoyed very much. Normal dishes are also available like dal, chawal, roti, sabji and stuffed parantha(in breakfast) I would highly recommend this homestay and I would definitely want to visit this place again, may be in winter time.

The place is easy to find ,a small cozy place right in the middle of sissu. The best thing is that they have delicious in house food. The view from the room was amazing. Also i was travelling with my pets so they were considerate of it and gave us a garden open room. Will definitely like to stay again there. A little steep on price though🙄

I am writing this review after spending 3 days with suraj and hamlet wood stays! This review is honest transparent and totally based on live experience! I had my best 3 days spending in hamletwood stay it is so nearby with market food places and so near to advantures places! Bike on rent is nearby grocery is nearby i had to catch the bus for manali the bus stop is downstairs! I had very good brother connection with suraj he guided me very well about the places being honest about all the extra fares in the end moment he provided us one day stay extra ! I strongly recommend everyone to book this stay and enjoy your sissu trip! Thank you 🫶🏻

We had been planning a long time to visit manali and were always on a-lookout for a place with the scenic view, a hillside, the river facing view, and we got just the right spot. Irish cottage is a gem of a place. You have the privacy that you need at a affordable cost. We loved every single thing about it. We met our host Jaypal, what a man. Took time to recommend us places which are not often visited. Rohtang was on our list of places, he convinced us to skip it and instead travel to Baralacha hill. And we didn’t regret even a slightest bit. The journey is another topic that might take a whole other review. But we are the most happy that we booked Irish cottage in manali. Location is perfect. You dont want to stay to close to the mall road. It gets a little crowded. Although the food could have been better. The breakfast was pretty good with options. Overall a nice 5 Star experience. We stayed at this beautiful home hosted by Susheel, and it was truly a five-star experience. Nestled in a serene location with a breathtaking view of the glacier, the house is about 12 km from Sissu and just 50 meters off the main road. There are two general stores right next to the property where you can pick up all the basic essentials. Parking is ample and convenient. Both rooms were spacious, filled with natural light, and we had access to a private kitchen equipped with all the basic utensils. One of the highlights was simply sitting by the window and soaking in the stunning views of the snow-clad mountains — truly mesmerizing. Susheel and his family were incredibly warm and helpful. They suggested some wonderful sightseeing spots we wouldn’t have discovered on our own. The home-cooked food was absolutely delicious, and they even prepared no-spice meals for our child. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful and scenic getaway!

My partner and I stayed here for a day, and while the property has its positives, we found it to be slightly overpriced for the experience offered. Positives: • The place was impeccably clean, which was definitely a highlight. • The househelp staff were courteous and helpful, attending to our requests promptly once approached. • The food was excellent! We tried roti, rice, and the chef’s special chicken, and all of them were delicious. The complimentary breakfast, though limited, was decent. Areas for Improvement: 1. Amenities: While the amenities were available, we had to repeatedly call the househelp to arrange for basic necessities like a room heater and a kettle. It would be better if these essentials were ready beforehand, especially during winter months. 2. Heating: The rooms, with glass walls, look beautiful but require stronger heaters during the colder months to ensure comfort. 3. the place is even better than the pictures. surrounded by beautiful mountains and apple orchard, at a peaceful location, away from noisy town area. Caretaker Kamal bhaiya took care of our meals. homemade tasty dishes. we went with our 2 small kids. they enjoyed the stay as well. Akshay was very supportive and helpful. In case you want outside food, there are many dhaba's and restaurant nearby. also zomato delivers food at the place. Looking forward to coming back again soon.

Had a great stay. Excellent food , they specially made Siddu for us, it was a homely experience. Bhupender and team took good care of us during our stay.
