A great host always with smiling face. He has one of the best places to stay in kaza with a great view. The family hosted us with great food and conversations. The rooms are neat and clean, also has most of the amenities that’s required for your stay. Highly recommended.

An exquisite private bedroom with mountain view

DeepshikhaRating, 5 stars30 months ago
The stay is amazing. It's an experience that will remain with you forever. I mean the location is just beautiful, we could literally see snow covered mountains straight from our bedroom. The place is a little difficult to get to but once you arrive, all your hardwork will be paid off. The food served was delicious, we prefer Indian homestyle food and that's what we got. This is definitely a place that I would love to visit again, their hospitality is top notch. This has to be the best place to stay in Tosh, not too far from the village but just in the perfect distance to give you that calm and peaceful vacation.

Brown Dipper House by Humming Woods Ground Floor

It was the last stay of our itinerary, and we never thought it will be so peaceful. The place was so happening and so soothing. The best part was the food it felt like home. We really enjoyed the stay. The barbeque session was so awesome. Naresh was so helpful in arranging all the things we needed. He also guided for a wood fire pizza which is near to this place and it was a lifetime experience. The location is so peaceful and still untouched.

THE WOODEN BRICK

SiddharthRating, 5 stars6 months ago
Staying here was a unique experience! The journey to the homestay is an adventure itself, with an uphill off-road drive through dense, lush green forests. The property is nestled beautifully within an apple orchard, offering peace and natural beauty. The family was incredibly welcoming, and we had wonderful conversations. Aman was especially helpful, guiding us thoroughly to the destination. A special mention to Alpha, Aman’s adorable dog, who added so much joy to our stay — we absolutely loved him! The meals were delicious, and the homely atmosphere made our visit truly memorable. Highly recommended for those seeking tranquility, nature, and some furry love!

For a While, Tirthan Valley, Banjar

SusmitaRating, 5 stars106 months ago
My two friends and I visited "For a while" in September 2016 and this was certainly one of the most beautiful experiences I have ever had in my entire life. The sheer natural beauty of the valley alongwith the warmth of Debapriya, Shalini and the staff at For A While made this a magical experience for us. The attention to detail is hard to miss in this place. Right from the decor of the place to the constant communication by the hosts during our journey to their constant attention to our stated (and unstated) needs....made us feel at home even before we got to the place :) The place can be reached after a bumpy ride during the last stretch (of 2 km)....but it is totally totally worth it. This is perfect for anyone who wants to undergo a digital detox, just be in the lap of nature and experience small joys like climbing hills, walking along the river, collecting wild flowers or just chilling by the cottage with a book. Additionally, we were treated to lip smackingly delicious meals every single day wherein some of the ingredients were freshly grown in the vegetable patch nearby. Our evenings were spent over long conversations with the hosts and musings under a phenomenally starry sky. As if all of this wasnt enough....we actually saw two shooting stars and a rainbow! Such fun! On one of the days we drove up to the Jalori Pass (which is a 3 hour drive from here) and our hosts very thoughtfully packed a picnic basket for us....which we relished when we were starving during our hike. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to enjoy the hills, valleys and rivers in a rustic and warm space....and rediscover the many joys that can be found by just wandering around :)
A balcony view showcases the sprawling valley and distant mountains. A decorative iron railing frames the landscape, with bare trees and colorful clotheslines visible in the foreground, hinting at the local village lifestyle. The clear blue sky enhances the natural beauty of the surroundings.

"Dankhar Heights" Dankhar

AyeshaRating, 5 stars26 months ago
Totally loved my time here at Dhankar Heights!! The property is accessible via car, which was convenient.. Sumit was a great host and super helpful throughout! He helped us arrange a driver + car for our Spiti Valley trip. The Dhankar Monastry is just a 5-10min walk from the property. We visited this place in April end, the weather was chilly and windy. However, we were provided with a heater for the room (for free!!). The hosts at the property were damn helpful and attentive. They even took us for a nice trek early in the morning to Dhankar Lake. Its an hour long trek, but totally worth it! They offer a special tea which tastes like hot tang. Delicious!! I would 100% visit again, and would recommend all of you to go there as well!
