Catherine was a wonderful host. Breakfast was great and Catherine went over and beyond to accommodate, including preparing a delicious early breakfast. Nothing seemed too much trouble.

Luxury Country House Glendalough Wicklow

TanyaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had to most wonderful few days in the Old School House celebrating my mother in laws birthday with family. The house was even better than described/ photographed- clean, beautifully decorated and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Lisa was super responsive, friendly and beyond helpful during our stay. Check in and check out was flexible (which we really appreciate traveling a long distance with a baby). I’d definitely recommend this Airbnb to anyone visiting the area and would love to stay here again in the future. Thanks so much for a fantastic stay!

Huntington Castle

KristaRating, 5 stars2 days ago
Alexander was very friendly and helpful. He gave us loads of information about the castle and property. He welcomed us and helped us find a nice restaurant for supper. The atmosphere at the castle is amazing. Full of antiques and rich in history. I wish we could have stayed longer than one night. You actually have the castle experience and I cannot tell you enough to book it. Worth every penny! The history of his family for 400 years is so amazing. Breakfast was delicious.

The Owl Private Room En-Suite + Garden and Patio

IanRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We wished we had stayed longer with Fiona and Ed because their place has such a relaxed, delightful setting and they were such friendly hosts. Our rooms were perfect for our needs, and the bed was super comfortable. Having the kitchen facilities in a nearby cabin was quirky but great. There are many trees, lots of birdlife (the wild kind plus tame hens and a rooster!) and wonderful spaces to relax outdoors. We thoroughly enjoyed chatting to Fiona about her artistic interests and felt privileged to witness her amazing portrait-painting skills first hand. This Airbnb was also a brilliant base from which to explore Wicklow's many and varied gems.

We felt very welcome at Bernie’s place. The house is surrounded by beautiful flowers and the breakfast was really good. We loved her freshly baked scones especially and after 9 days in Ireland they have been the best scones we had - and we tried quite a few!

Ballymaconey House Bed and Breakfast

HannaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
I came for just one night, wet and slightly muddy from a tour up in the mountains. And what did I find? A beautiful house, clean, picturesque, homely, a nice hot shower and a very friendly and forthcoming Ann, who gave me time to settle down, but was always there for a talk, offering tea and advice about what to see next day. Breakfast next morning was marvellously delicious, with fruit (i.e. strawberries!), muesli, yoghurt, homemade breads, spreads, and also porridge and sausages, if one liked. There really was nothing to be wished for, except a longer stay...
