West Unity is right along the Ohio Turnpike between exit 13 and 25. There are many adventures awaiting locally and even more within an hour's drive.

Living room, dine-in kitchen, laundry room, & half bath are located on the first floor. AC is provided on the first floor and in both bedrooms. Cable & internet provided. Sorry, pets are not allowed. Dave and Kathy were fantastic hosts all weekend. They went above and beyond to make us feel at home and seemed genuinely happy to have us at their place. The lake was beautiful and had the biggest red ear I’ve ever seen. The golf course they set up was a ton of fun too. We will definitely be back and look forward to spending more time with Dave, Kathy, Sarah, and Piper.

We decided on this place after we were going to stay with family in defiance, Ohio. Our plans fell through so we started looking around on Airbnb although we've never used it before because hotels are getting more expensive and staying in a home would be better for our kids and more private. It was really affordable and I like that it was in the country since I am currently living in Florida. I'm very familiar with this area since I lived in Napoleon for most of my life. One of our sons are autistic so it was comforting that him having outbursts wasn't a problem and there was a toy there that he kept him busy the whole time. The bed upstairs is extremely comfortable, it's nice having a pull out sofa, this can easily house 4 people. the bathroom had all the supplies you need plus some, as well as the kitchen. The water gets really hot so I would be careful with that, and with any very small children be careful with the stairs since it feels a little steep and there is no risers.

The privacy was a standout feature, making it the perfect retreat for unwinding. The views were breathtaking, whether gazing out the window at the serene river or relaxing in the charming gazebo, also overlooking the water. It was the ideal backdrop for a peaceful escape. Joel was an exceptional host, responding promptly to any questions and going above and beyond with thoughtful recommendations for local dining and excursions, which truly enhanced our stay. Every detail was considered, making our two-night stay feel effortless and memorable. We’re already looking forward to our next visit—highly recommend this stunning property to anyone visiting the Toledo or surrounding area!
