This Earthen house is made of sand, straw and clay. Nestled in a valley it is a peaceful and unique getaway. The cabin has four comfortable single beds and electricity, a wood stove for winter. Outside a fire pit and grill. A hand washing sink inside; and port-o-let toilet outside. You may be able to drive in (weather/road condition depending). There is a gas grill on site as well as a full service kitchen. Bring your boat or water craft to use on Castle Rock lake, 1/2 mile away OR enjoy a day at the many parks in the area. Bring your snowmobile, atv, or utv for the many trails or clubs for the golf courses!

We had a wonderful time! Tricia was an amazing host. Very responsive & helpful with instructions and recommendations. The house was fully stocked with everything we needed for cooking, cleaning, and sledding/playing outdoors in the snow! The location is peaceful & beautiful. Easy check in and impressed with the cabin immediately after walking in. Parking is a little tight, but not unreasonable . We were able to park 6 trucks in the lot. Bring or rent a boat if you want to enjoy the lake. Not a great swimming area infront of the cabin, but awesome sand bars and beaches not too far away. Overall, this cabin was a great place to stay!

What a wonderful place to stay. Location is beautiful and private. Feels like you’re in your own little tree house. Had everything we needed and lots of extra little details that made the stay so comfortable. Would definitely recommend staying at this wonderful spot.
