We live on a two acre lot near Rosedale Bible College in central Ohio. The apartment is a cozy, private, single bedroom apartment attached to our home on the ground level. Space includes a 3 season room, kitchen, living room, bathroom, laundry room, patio with picnic table, and a large yard. Breakfast items are provided. There is a beautiful nature/walking trail next to the property. In 35 minutes, you can be on The Ohio State University campus as well as the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium.

If you’re in Columbus and looking for a great staycation spot, this is perfect! The area was incredibly cozy and we loved using the outdoor area as a place to relax and breathe. The space interior was so delightful too and full of character and charm! This is also just far enough out of Columbus proper to feel like you’re away from the loud hustle and bustle, but also close enough that you still have local places to visit and check out. :) Would highly recommend and stay here again.

This is our second stay at Restgate and hopefully won’t be our last. Amy’s home has a fun, artsy vibe. It has a lovely, private garden that we enjoyed very much, as did our dogs! Amy is a wonderful host - incredibly responsive, friendly, and flexible.

My daughter and I had a wonderful stay with Katherine. We arrived late but had no trouble finding the home or getting in. The space was perfect for us- very clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable and the kitchenette was well appointed (dinnerware, coffeemaker and coffee, small appliances- toaster, hot plate, air fryer). Katherine and her family were friendly and welcoming. The neighborhood was residential and very peaceful (not walkable to retail but a short drive to Worthington or Easton). We would definitely stay with them again if we’re ever in Columbus!

This is a rare find. Private and secluded while being near a major city. You’ll feel like you’re in a cabin in the Smokey mountains, yet walking distance to restaurants and nightlife. The property is very quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed the pristine hot tub, the surgical room clean inside, and all the amenities that the hosts provided. They thought of everything! There’s even a book on the history of the property with tons of recommendations for sightseeing and dining. We loved the place so much that we even loaded the dishwasher, vacuumed, and washed the linens as an appreciation of the wonderful experience. Be advised, if you’re over 6’ tall, be careful. 10/10 highly recommended, and we will absolutely be back.
