Modern, Cozy Studio Walking Distance to Emory Village

Cleaned and sanitized after each booking with a 24hr vacancy period in between each new guest's stay, per Covid protocol. Bright and airy space with a minimalist, mid-century vibe. New kitchenette (except the fridge/sink combo, which is pure vintage goodness!) is stocked with coffee, tea and light snacks. Please keep in mind this is not a full kitchen. Toaster oven and microwave are provided, for small baking needs and microwaveable meals, but the stove top is not functional. Mini fridge and freezer Use of laundry is available to guests staying 6 nights or longer. Private Studio with separate entrance. Bathroom with newly remodeled shower (no tub) and kitchenette with stovetop, refrigerator, toaster and Keurig. Unfortunately, there is no oven in this space - but there are great bakeries and pizza places nearby, anyhow ;) This is the lower unit in a home with 4 other units- so being respectful of other guests, in terms of watching your noise level, is needed, therefore, we have set quiet hours from 10:00pm to 8:00am. Access is with Lock-box. We live on the property so we are always easy to get in touch with, if needed, however, we leave the amount of interaction with guests, up to the guests. :) The house is an easy walk to both Emory University/Emory Village and Morningside Village, where there are great eateries and shops. Just a quick, 5 minute drive to Virginia Highland, one of the best town squares in Atlanta, and Piedmont Park. Downtown is a 15-minute drive. 12min to Buckhead. Parking is pretty open throughout the area. When you get closer to the "hot spots" mentioned above you may have to find side streets, so if it's a nice day/evening, we recommend walking! **We require every guest who stays with us to be verified through Airbnb with a government issued photo ID** **No Smoking of any kind is allowed in unit, or on the property as a whole. Owner has an extreme allergy. You will be asked to leave, without a refund for the full booking, including security deposit.** **Laundry access is for guests staying longer than 7 days.** **This is a four unit home, with a unit just above the studio. While we ask guests to be respectful, the floors and walls are somewhat thin, so chances are you may hear walking or loud talking, every now and then, if the upper unit has guests staying during your stay.**

Treetop View Apartment in Charming Candler Park Bungalow

1 Large california king bed and 1 long couch suitable for sleeping. Pack n play and children's cot available upon request. Bathroom is fully equipped for all your needs. Wifi, sheets, pillows, blankets, towels, toiletries, filtered water, and coffee maker (with grounds) are provided for each guest. Microwave and mini fridge is upstairs. TV on a swivel mount is viewable from the bed or the lounge area, with Amazon Prime streaming video, HBO and PBS kids subscriptions. Guests can also relax in our beautiful backyard, with a set of adirondack chairs and a hammock under a pergola. Guests will enter through the back yard up a small set of exterior stairs. We will provide you with a keycode for entry. We live 10 minutes away and both work from home, and are available at any time to assist you with your needs! We are often at the space, to clean, to improve, or just passing by to see friends. We love meeting our guests, in fact that is part of why we do this! The neighborhood has all the amenities a city offers while still having a laid back feel. Candler Park is one of the only truly walkable areas in Atlanta. The Candler Park Pool is open all summer and is just a short walk away. You will have the driveway to yourself, in addition to the ample street parking available. MARTA is a five minute walk away with 2 stops to downtown Decatur in one direction, and downtown Atlanta 2 stops in the other direction. Many restaurants, concert venues, bars, grocery stores are all within 10 minutes walking distance. Before you book, PLEASE be aware of the stairs where the bathroom and kitchen are located !One of the best neighborhoods in town. Due to the coronavirus, we’re taking extra care to disinfect frequently touched surfaces between reservations. Perfect location close Lavista Rd, Oakgrove area, close to downtown Decatur (10mins), downtown Atlanta (25-35mins), between I-285 and I-75/85. Close to Emory (5mins). Quiet and nice neighborhood.
