House vacation rentals in Deep Creek Lake

Great location - walking distance from Wisp for skiing and tubing (though not easy with gear) and a short drive to the grocery store. This was our second stay at this property and we love how family friendly it is - the kids love the game room and climbing wall and it’s a good setup for multiple families.

Everything was phenomenal. Plenty of space to maneuver and have gatherings with loved ones.

The house was beautiful and so was the setting. The beds were very comfortable and the house was very spacious. The only thing disappointing was there was 8 of us and we brought steaks to grill. As nice as the house was , I was shocked at the tiny table top grill. We ran out of the small propane bottles as there were only two that were half full. I would recommend a full size grill for a house advertised as accommodating 11 people. Other than that everything was great!!

Great way to spend a few days winding down. The lake was close to the house. Our dogs enjoyed a morning swim and a nice long walk on the trails to dry off and release some energy.

My family has stayed at several cabins over the years and this one by far was one of the best! Literally everything you could ever need was provided. The consideration and care put into this Airbnb felt like a home. Generous furnishings and supplies were available and it was close to some markets if you needed anything. We also liked how dog friendly the listing was. The cabin and surrounding area was peaceful and quiet. Very clean. Would love to come stay again if we have the opportunity to.

Great vacation. Wendy was the best host we have ever had—responsive and generous. The house itself was one of the best stocked rentals we have ever been in. We loved the use of the kayaks and would absolutely come back to enjoy Alpine Lake here again. Very relaxed, friendly vibe within the whole community.

Very much enjoyed staying here with friends and their families! We loved playing pool and shuffle board and family meal around the large dining table! Less than 15 minutes from Wisp for snow tubing and snowboarding!

Our stay was amazing! The house was very clean and worked perfect for our group of 6. The area had a ton to do and everything was easily accessible by car. The only thing that was a bit of an inconvenience was that the house only came equipped with paper goods, trash bags, and soaps for the first 24 hours (which is stated in the details sent by the host). I prefer Airbnbs that include those items to really provide their guests with the best experience. All in all we had a great stay and would recommend to anyone interested!

Very nice modern house. The only issue was getting the hot tub to an adequate temperature in a timely manner. Check in was 4PM. I arrived around 5PM. The hot tub water temperature was 67F. I had to wait until 10PM for the hot tub to reach a temperature of 93F. In short, it was more of a "warm" tub instead of a "hot" tub. If the hot tub were prepared in advance, I could have used it right away when I arrived.

We had a great time at Olivia’s place this weekend. She was very descriptive and friendly. The home is spacious and located near very private golf course and tennis courts which our party used every day. Close to deep creek amenities. Only issue we had was the grill had a massive birds nest (NOT the fault of the hosts) so we didn’t get to grill, but Olivia’s husband called me personally to troubleshoot solutions. Nice place, had everything we needed, definitely would return.

Great house! The ping pong, pool table, and shuffleboard were a hit.

This stay was perfect for our group of 10! Everything was tidy and clean. I loved the hot tub and pool table. I really loved how each floor had many games. They all came in handy for our rainy weekend. We had pizza from Brenda’s that we were able to walk to. We grilled the next night, which the host kindly has propane available for use. The kitchen was fully stocked for all our cooking needs. The beds were comfy and there were many bathrooms that no one really had to share a bathroom. Lastly, the host and her cleaner was so kind to coordinate and bring us extra toilet paper and paper towels very quickly when I reached out. I would highly recommend this Airbnb and would stay here again.

We had to make an unexpected trip and were very fortunate to find this great place with only a one day notice. We had an issue with a room heater but Lisa responded to our message very quickly. The house was very clean and well stocked with linens and everything we could have wanted in the kitchen. We were there before the season so didn't take part in any of the lake activities, but it is a beautiful part of the country and was very convenient for visits to Oakland, Grantsville and other places where our family members live. We have stayed at several other Airbnb locations in the area and this is the best!

We had such a wonderful stay at the Careless Whisper Cabin! It was spotless (air purifier included), and the bed and pillows were incredibly comfy… honestly better than some luxury hotels. The deck and fireplace were our favorite hangout spots. Even with the rain, we spent hours there just soaking in the peaceful vibe. The amenities felt high-end, but the atmosphere was pure cozy cabin warmth… relaxing, inviting, and good for the soul. There were so many thoughtful touches—kids’ utensils, a well-stocked kitchen, both Keurig and drip coffee makers, extra toilet paper, and a sweet welcome gift with a “Congrats” sign for our twins’ graduation. That truly made our hearts melt. Brian was such a wonderful host… responsive, thoughtful, and felt like a distant friend making sure we had the best time. We’ll absolutely be back, and will be recommending this gem to our friends. One of our favorite getaways ever!

10/10 visit! We had an amazing weekend here and would absolutely love to come back. It was the perfect spot with much to do and lots of fun to be had both inside and outside of the house. David was also very helpful and responsive throughout the entire process.

Matthew’s place was very nice. Comfortable, well furnished, delightfully decorated, and easy to find. Matthew communicated with us upon arrival and departure. We would definitely go back.

Cozy and clean stay with a good layout for our group of 5. Loved the lakefront location, deck with the hot tub, and proximity to boating and amenities in town!

This was a fantastic experience and stay for our families. We had four small children under six and they absolutely loved all the amenities. The outdoor projector was easy to use and we had great instructions on how to set it up. The slide going from the deck down to the first level was extremely popular, and the fire pit and hot tub were very nice in the evenings. I was really happy about how clean the place was. The kitchen was also very well stocked - i’ve stayed at other Airbnbs that did not have cooking basics, but this cabin had everything that we needed to cook and prep, and also clean up. The location was great as well. We were able to easily drive to popular hiking spots and hit restaurants and grocery stores that were close by. We will definitely stay here again!
