Waterfront vacation rentals in De Kelders

We had a lovely few days in this apartment, views were spectacular and the living space was great for spending time watching the whales. Would recommend to anyone visiting Hermanus. 2 min away from lovely restaurants.

Lovely stay. Great location for those, like us, who don’t want to drive once they get to where they’re going. Walked to the harbour on cliff Road for sushi and a eco boat tour. Spent lovely evenings in the garden which gets the evening sun.

Such a lovely, homely appartment close to everything and the bonus of course a stunning view!! Very friendly host and check in instructions. Easy to reach the cliffpath to walk along the ocean and to town. We can highly recommend this apartment for a stay in Hermanus.

perfect location with amazing views and within walking distance of great restaurants and walking paths. Debra and Emile were extremely responsive, welcoming and accommodating. the apartment was tastefully decorated and had everything we needed.

We had an amazing stay in the very comfortable and spacious apartment. The view was magnificent and we were treated to huge schools of dolphins swimming offshore. The apartment is very well located and central, thoughtfully appointed and Ohna was a very good host.

I couldn’t have asked for a better weekend getaway. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Such an attractive apartment. Perfectly clean, well-equipped, thoughtfully resourced and convenient for restaurants, shops, cliff top walks and all the other delights of Hermanus. It was easy to find and parking was problem-free. Adele was wonderful - so helpful and kind. We felt so welcome and supported as overseas visitors. 100 per cent recommended!

Lovely and well kept, Heleen was super as a host, the location was amazing with clever architecture to hide from the wind and still enjoy the clear nights and days.

Storkerden is an absolutely fantastic beach house with so much to offer. Our family had such an awesome restful time here. Every room has a beach view. It was bliss. I can highly recommend it!

We had the most incredible stay at Zebra Views! The house was impeccably maintained, spotlessly clean and so comfortable for our group of four adults and two little ones. Our 4 and 1 yr old had the time of their lives, running freely between the front and backyard. On our second day, we were surprised by a turtle wandering into the garden, and later, two zebras casually strolled by just outside. The view is absolutely breathtaking. The sunsets alone are worth the trip, golden skies like we’ve never seen before. The home had everything we could possibly need, and the thoughtful welcome gift of fresh bread and a bottle of wine was such a warm touch. We truly hope to return soon, it was nothing short of magical!

We fell in love with the village of Stanford and the soul restoring River Home. This beautiful house is right on the river's edge and is a real treat (and retreat) to stay in. Just the place to surrender to nature, listen to the birdsong, rest and restore. We loved walking along the delightful river path. A short walk into the centre of town will bring you to several delightful restaurants. We ate at three of them (for lunch at Madré we enjoyed a really good pork belly with crispy skin and vegetables, at La Trattoria we had a feast of authentic Italian food and Agteros has a menu full of delightful South African dishes done with a modern twist). We also brownsed in some delightful homewear and gift shops. If you prefer eating at home, the kitchen at River House has everything you need to cook a gourmet meal. It is spotless, has a great gas hob and electric oven and a dishwasher for cleaning up after.

The house was clean and well kept. It was alovely home away from home and within walking distance from the beach. Will definitely recommend 👌🏻

Villa Vue is a fantastic venue with ample space and amenities. The ocean views from the kitchen/lounge area is amazing, and during the cold evenings the fireplace provided sufficient warmth. We enjoyed having a braai over looking the ocean from upstairs, as well as outside braai area enjoying the afternoon sun. The restaurant is within walking distance to get something to eat for either sit down or take away. Albertha is a great host, always keeping in contact and willing to assist when needed. We will definitely return and recommend

In the middle of Hermanus with a stunning, unobstructed view of the bay. Apartment is every bit as amazing as depicted in the pictures and description. Very comfortable stay, all the amenities are pristine and in working order. Was wonderfully assisted by Elaine the entire time, and was so easy to communicate with. Walking distance to all the best spots and restaurants in town. Would 100% recommend and cannot wait to return.

Elaine was the host we met on checking in.she was great.polite and very helpful.the place is quite nice,cozy and pretty much in the centre of everything.we had breakfast in different restaurants daily because they are close by.
