Had a very nice stay! Beautiful surroundings between the fields, ideal for relaxing and also a wonderful place for our two daughters to live out in the garden. A lamb was born during our stay, so that was completely nice for our daughters. 😊

Very spacious house, ideal for a group of friends. The bedrooms are very spacious and clean, also certainly enough bathrooms. We did not lack anything, basic things like kitchen towels, oil and coffee are present. There was also a cot, chair and toys provided for our baby. It was quite chilly in the house and we were unable to turn on the heating, but we were able to warm ourselves by the fireplace in the evening. We loved our weekend getaway!

Beautiful location with a beautiful view over the meadows. Ghent and Bruges around the corner. Perfect base to enjoy. Daniel and Nathalie also respond quickly to messages. Absolutely recommended.

We were completely satisfied with the stay. Check-in would have been possible much earlier, the place was sparkling clean and lovingly prepared upon arrival. The hostess was always quickly available to us and very helpful. The house itself is freshly renovated and ultra-modern. The garden is large and the beach is reachable in a few minutes' walk. The parking space for four vehicles right by the house is also great. We enjoyed the stay very much and can recommend Grete and the accommodation without reservation.

We spent a week with our children in this super nice house. The garden is wonderful and we were lucky with the weather so the children could also play in the swimming pond. For our dog, the garden was also super fenced and the sheep next to it were really nice. The house is very well facilitated as is the kitchen. Actually, everything is what you want. You can be in Lille or Bruges in 45 minutes. Kortrijk is close and Ypres was also nice to visit. All in all highly recommended.

A clean, immaculate house - everything you need for a successful vacation is there. Barbecue area, small garden, kitchen, bathroom, etc. everything is clean and quite modern. You can see that a few things have already been used, but these can be easily replaced. If we ever come back to the area, that would definitely be our house. PS: Quote from my wife: "Finally a vacation home with enough towel racks in the bathroom!" Thank you and good luck!

This was easily the most wonderful AirBnB we’ve ever stayed in. Sophie takes great care with her home. The property is lovely, the furnishings are beautiful, the beds are comfortable, and the outdoor space is peaceful and usable. My kids prefer to eat dinner in the garden instead of going out to eat. It was just so peaceful. Know that the steps are steep - if you have mobility issues. We had no issues with the stairs. A side note: we stayed in Damme and took the small ferry into Bruges. Our only regret is not having more time to enjoy this home!

Firendly, flexible and helpful

We were there in April with six adults and six children (1-10 yrs) and had a lovely time. A lot was child-friendly, so there were, for example, several travel beds, high chairs and a rocking horse. Kitchen amenities were good. Only a milk frother could not be found in this coffee-loving accommodation. ;) Due to the fact that toilets (3x) and bathrooms (3x) were separate from each other, there were no bottlenecks here even with so many people. All in all, we can only recommend this apartment and will be happy to come back ourselves.

Great sized property with a wonderful kitchen dining space. Our kids loved the large garden with swings and trampoline - kept them entertained throughout our entire stay. All communication and advice from Tom was excellent - would highly recommend.

With five adults, we had a very nice 4-day family stay. A beautiful vacation home and quiet location. The furnishings of the kitchen leave nothing to be desired. If we visit the Belgian coast again, we will contact Jozefien & Alain. Thank you.

We stayed for 4 days at the Manor: 8 adults, 4 teenagers and 3 grandchildren. Everyone quickly found their place because the place is incredibly welcoming! The outdoor spaces are full of small corners for activities: jacuzzi, petanque, BBQ, large tables, garden shed, brazier and so on are a real plus! The rooms are very beautiful, spacious, tastefully furnished! The bedding and sheets smell good, you sleep very, very well there! The different lounges are super beautiful, the pool table and darts occupy the largest pleasantly. And finally: the kitchen: visually, a step back in time but technically: impeccable. Plenty of dishes, all the equipment is there and the large stoves are super convenient for cooking for large families! Really, nothing missing! And François… a great host, discreet but ultra responsive when necessary! A 10/10 for us!

We loved our stay in the beautiful cottage, it had everything you needed. Very nicely decorated !Beautiful view and nice and quiet. Enough to see and do in the area and nice and close to the beach ! Recommended !

Beautiful house, incredibly beautifully designed by the architect/owner, both inside and out and with an eye for detail. Moreover, in the middle of an oasis of greenery and within walking distance of the sea with still nice addresses to discover as well. Here we really found everything that makes us happy! This gem is now at the top of our 'even-weg' list ;-)

There were two of us staying at this place for 3 nights. We enjoyed it very much. The place was clean, spacious and well located. Check-in and check-out went smoothly. We definitely recommend the place and would book again. If you are looking for relaxation and tranquility, but also want to visit the surrounding cities or the sea, this is the place to be.

We had a wonderful time at the Beach House Alouette. The house is very lovingly and stylishly furnished. Everything you needed was there. The house is large and has enough space for many people everywhere. Whether in the winter garden, in the living room, on the terrace or on the beach, we always had enough seating for 8 people. We will be happy to come back.
