It is located in a naturally designed environment with typical local planting and traditional field stone walls. In the neighboring town of Bodstedt, there is a traditional Boddenhafen, which is home for numerous zeesboats for sailing and from which the Bodden ferry starts several ports. Here you will also find quaint restaurants with freshly caught fish and regional delicacies.

If you look over the Bülten, you can see the Borner Mühle and the Ahrenshooper harbor on good days. In 25 minutes, you can be at Zingster Strand by car.
