Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Darlington

Can’t recommend Darren’s property more - this was an ideal property whilst visiting Darlington for a wedding. Finished to a very high standard, impeccably clean and had all the comforts you could want. Darren was a great host, with great comms and clear instructions from the moment we booked. Great stay, beautiful house and perfect location

We had a wonderful stay at Clearwater cottage. It’s a beautiful place to sit and watch the river from the window, so peaceful. The property is well furnished and has everything we needed and more. The host was there at all times to recommend local restaurants and anything else we needed. We look forward to visiting again

Fabulous property! 😊 The best Airbnb we have ever stayed in. More amenities than my own home 🤣 Spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable. Very peaceful and quiet cul de sac location. So many great places to explore close by. Highly recommend to all 👍

Really nice little place to stay! Was made right at home with the hamper that was left. Very nice touch. Only downside was not many taxis in area and no information about local taxi firm but we found one online so no big issue to us. Would stay again

We stayed here as we were attending a family wedding at Middleton Lodge (5min drive away) it was a home from home and ticked everything we wanted. There was 4 adults and a baby staying… we had to bring our own travel cot and highchair as this was not provided. The upstairs bedroom has very low ceilings and the bed was on the floor…so be mindful if you are not willing to accept this challenge. Unfortunately the local, walkable pub didn’t do food, however we do recommend ‘The Bridge Inn’ in Stapleton and ‘The Shoulder of Mutton’ in Middleton Tyas short drives away. Overall the cottage had good amenities, we were impressed the kitchen included washing up stuff, salt, pepper, foil and tea towel as some Airbnbs do not! If we would ever be in the area again, we wouldn’t hesitate to rebook! 😊

We absolutely loved our stay at May Cottage, beautifully decorated, cosy and welcoming we Immediately felt at home. A gorgeous peaceful location with a great hotel/restaurant just a few minutes walk fro the cottage where we had a lovely meal, followed by a walk around the local area.. We would most definitely recommend, it’s the perfect location for exploring the local area, Durham was delightful….

great location for central Middlesbrough/ acklam/ linthhopre with convenient parking. clean, comfortable and spacious. everything as described. handy en suite with good shower.. Easy to access and prompt communication from Jeanette. thank you for hosting

The flat is exactly as described and very close to local amenities.

Lovely home with everything we needed for the 12 days we stayed. Lauren was able to give us tonnes of information and everything was readily available. The location was also excellent - quiet area but within short walking distance to parks and the town centre.

A ground floor flat in a quiet cul de sac (with parking) , about 5 minutes walk from Norton's Georgian High street with restaurants, cafes, shops/ supermarkets and pubs close at hand ...plus a duck pond . Clean property , fairly newly refurbished to a good standard with all the expected amenities and two double bedrooms . Well served by public transport locally & regionally too .Not far from the A19 main link road North/South through Teesside's towns so access is an easy 15 minutes to the coast or the hills and moors .Ancient cities such as Durham & York are only an hour away too. And a good price too.

beautifully clea spacious flat , well equipped , exactly what i needed whilst i was in middlesbrough on a course .... i will be using this in the future as i gave to return in a couple months time .... thank you

What a lovely little apartment for our short stay, perfectly situated on the high street we made the most of local cafes and restaurants for meals out, but the kitchen had all you would need if you wanted to self cater. The welcome packet of breast, cereal, brownies and milk was much appreciated after a long drive and meant we only needed to pop to the coop down the street to grab butter and mornings were sorted.

Our fifth visit to the Nook, Chris & Karen are superb hosts. The Nook is an ideal location for us when travelling to the area, the accommodation is perfect, very clean and tidy with a very modern feel Would recommend the Nook and its hosts very highly and the location is stunning.
