Family-friendly vacation rentals in Darling Harbour

Such a lovely getaway with the kids. We all loved the pool table, games and most of all the hot tub! The house was lovely, surrounded by nature. All rooms were comfy. I will note no shampoo, conditioner and body wash was supplied so we had to duck out to grab some. Thanks for the stay! We’d happily stay again.

Coco’s place was perfect, great location and everything we needed for a Sydney city stay. The apartment has everything we needed which made or stay super easy. Coco met us and checked us in and is a fantastic host.

Coledale is a special place and this house is one of the best places to stay to experience everything the area has to offer. Despite the inclement weather the house was comfortable, warm and well equipped with everything we needed. Thanks Tracey for making the check in and check out process so seamless. We will be back!

House is great, location is really handy to the city. The back yard is a surprising oasis in the middle of the city.

We absolutely loved our long weekend at the barn in Windsor! It's such a quaint little town, and the barn was the perfect hideaway for relaxing and reading. We especially enjoyed the ready-to-use sauna and spa. The beds were comfy - though those steep stairs were quite the workout! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily come back.

Walking distance to everything Darling harbour has to offer! great coffee from the motel Cafe across the street. Pyrmont bridge hotel for beers and happy hour. Coles, restaurants, aquarium, lyric theatre, Crown etc etc, we walked to Queen Vic building and Pitt st mall easily. Balcony great for fireworks and view from the roof pool was awesome. There are 2 new harbourside apartment complexes under construction that will impact the view eventually from this 3rd floor unit but I think a decent harbour view will still be available - we experienced no noise from construction. Unit was neat and clean, could do with a few updates/improvements which i have emailed. The host was responsive and friendly. queen bed was comfy and plenty of pillows blankets etc. All up a great place in the perfect spot for us. Would happily rebook.

We stayed at Claire’s apartment for a week. Claire was super friendly and responsive, readily available for check-ins, check-outs, or any other needs we had. She even accommodated our early check-in and late check-out requests due to flight changes. The apartment was spacious, well-equipped, spotlessly clean, and exactly as shown in the pictures. The location was excellent, only a short walk to both Central Chalmers Station and Central Station. Across from the apartment was Alfred Park, offering beautiful scenery in the mornings and evenings. Additionally, it was within walking distance of fantastic cafes, bars, and restaurants in Surry Hills. Highly recommend this place for the great apartment, ideal location, and most importantly, an incredible host!

We stayed here in this unspoilt part of paradise for 4 nights and everything that we experienced from location, weather and amenities of the home were beyond our expectations and made our time here very memorable. Roger was an excellent host! Very accommodating and even prepared eggs and bread for breakfast the next day. The couple were very friendly on arrival and mentioned we had all day for check-out since it was raining. Highly recommend Robyn's nest hideaway for your next airbnb in Ports Stephen!

What a remarkable location - and a unique way to access the tree house via boat. Berowra Waters is a stunning place, and having your own little boat tied up to the jetty to jump into for a peaceful explore of the water at any time was definitely the highlight of the stay. The house is lovely and nestled in high trees and bushland with expansive views up the river, with the afternoon sun reflecting the undulating ripples of the water onto the ceiling of the lounge room like a meditative slideshow. The indoor fire was super cosy, with plenty of wood supplied. Outdoor bath was a treat even on a cold night. It was fun to be picked up and dropped back at the marina by knowledgeable locals - very friendly and helpful. Loved every moment !

This was the most beautiful place to say - I can’t express how the even though the pictures looked amazing- they didn’t do it justice. We were blown away and that sunset on the water was breathtaking. Felt so homey and we didn’t want to leave. I will be back - just delightful and the host were so kind and accomodating. We stayed at this lovely Airbnb for 2 nights to visit family in Avalon. Patti and Maya were highly responsive from the time of booking to the end of the stay. The home was perfect for our party of three and 2 small dogs. It was clean, cosy and everything we needed was available and then some. We had no trouble finding the home, entering it or finding a parking space close to the home on the street. The 2 bedrooms with ensuites was a perfect setup for us as well as the open concept living space. The TV and wifi worked well. We spent a great deal of time in the outdoor living space and even though it rained we still enjoyed it. The neighbourhood is quiet and locals friendly. Close to coffee shops, beaches, restaurants, grocery, pubs and clubs. I have a senior dog that has high anxiety when away from home and he was extremely chilled in this environment. The only negative thing I have to say is that we didn’t stay long enough. 10/10 Highly recommend.

The house was very clean and fresh, super cozy and homely. Corinne went above and beyond to accommodate us, even down to leaving us groceries that suited our family to make breakfast and snacks. She also gave us a run down of the area and things to do and see. We will definitely aim to stay here next time we’re visiting.

An escape from reality is what we were after, Todd provided! Todd's place in Copacabana was our home away from home. Our whippet 'Willow' had fun in the fenced yard, may have been too inquisitive of the herb garden and trampled the rosemary... sorry about that! Our morning walk to the café on the beach provided us with the caffeine to explore this beautiful suburb. Obsessed with the vibe of Todd's home, giving us inspiration to style our own place! Todd was very friendly, always replying quickly and giving us a heads up for the weather. We recommend Todd's slice of heaven to any families and their furry friends!

Beachousesix was very well appointed with amazing ocean views. It was clean, quiet & within around a 10 minute walk to restaurants & shops. There was plenty of street parking also. I would love to stay here again if in Terrigal. Thanks Tim

This house is absolutely stunning, you will not want to leave. The view is spectacular, the inside was cosy and spacious, it looked like it was straight out of a magazine and perfect for a weekend to hang with friends. We will be back because we loved it so much! Thanks for being great hosts! We were lucky enough to get an early check-in and late check-out, which we appreciated greatly!

Definitely one of the best AirBnB we have stayed at. Judy and Bruce were welcoming, helpful and friendly, even allowing us to check in an hour early (after a very early start for an early flight). Corona cottage is delightful and has everything you could need for a relaxing weekend. Unfortunately, the sofa bed was rather squeaky, but comfortable according to our adult son who slept on it, and the queen bed was very comfortable. The grounds are perfectly maintained and the pool looked lovely (although we did not get to use it due to rainy weather). A nice touch was the fresh fruit bowl and continental breakfast supplied. Overall, an amazing place for our family to relax and unwind, I highly recommend it if you are visiting the area.

Highly recommend this place for anyone staying in Manly, really central location close to beach, shops, restaurants and the ferry terminal

We had a lovely time at Rod and Lynsey’s place. All of the needs for young families was very well thought out from night lights to access to a huge trampoline and simple things like washing machine detergent and milk for breakfast after a late night arrival. They also offered tips to travel more easily into Sydney city and there bar area was a fun and relaxing retreat for parents. Thanks very much, we look forward to visiting at the same time next year!

Loved the view from the loungeroom & balcony. Everything was neat & tidy. Lots of books, DVDs, etc. Great smart TV. Beds were comfy. Nice & roomy apartment. Well equipped kitchen. Had a lovely time.

Gary was a responsive host. The apartment was bigger than it looked in the photos, which was a nice suprise. We are on a four week trip around Eastern Australia, and free use of the washing machine was a great bonus.

Needing somewhere to stay while working in the area & wow what a find! I couldn’t wait to finish work and get back to enjoy this place. Bonus having a beautiful dog greeting. Hosts are down to earth great people and make ya feel at home while also giving you privacy. I absolutely loved the uniqueness & detail and all the comforts of home plus more!
