My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our 2-night stay at Melanie's place. The apartment was clean, neat, modern, and so nicely decorated. Her home is in a quiet, private, wooded setting that's a short drive from Ithaca - what a great location! Melanie was friendly and messaged us several times during our stay to make sure it was going well. As others have mentioned, we really appreciated the snacks (granola bars, yogurt, instant oatmeal) and fruit that Melanie left for us. Highly recommend this airbnb if you are looking for a fully-equipped, clean and private 1-bedroom apartment near Ithaca! Check out the cool covered bridge in Newfield, only 10 minutes away. We also had a very good breakfast at the Sunset Grill just down the road from Melanie's airbnb - prices were reasonable.

Truly cozy little cottage; comfortable, simple, and perfect for our needs. Perhaps a bit "rough around the edges," but it's not without charm. Organic breakfast was a nice touch. Beautiful, quiet and very rural location with downtown Ithaca only 10 minutes away.

Nice little getaway just 10-15 mins from downtown Ithaca and Cornell’s campus which made it perfect for a visit with privacy. The bed was INCREDIBLY comfortable - probably the most comfortable bed in an Airbnb that I’ve experienced ! Made everything very comfortable for us and Mariko and David even wrote a welcome note to us for my reunion ! Little touches which made for a great stay!

Carole’s place was great! Super clean and had every amenity you could think of. Check in and out was easy. It was about 15 mins away from downtown Ithaca so a car is needed. The drive back from Ithaca at night is VERY dark so drivers hesitant to drive in the dark be weary. This studio is located underneath the hosts main living space so you will hear the occasional footsteps and their dog which didn’t bother us but light sleepers may want to put on a sound machine. Would stay again!
