The cabin is located freely, little transparency, has good sun conditions and views of the mountain and Savalsjøen. Nice hiking trails both on foot, skiing and by bike. Saval Lake great for swimming, fishing/fishing, canoeing. The light trail right on the outside of the cabin. 5 min by car to ski resort, ice skating rink and Nissehuset/hotel. 15 min to walk. The field has road barrier; 80 NOK drive in, pay via app.

Olav the Holy lived for 6 days on the Listad in 1021 to prepare a meeting with Dale-Gudbrand during the Christianization of Norway. Water in the tap is from "Olavskilden". Lovely cottage in Folldal, with sun all day and view to Rondane. The cabin is nicely located in the cabin area by the disused mine, and sleeps 6-8 people, with two bedrooms and two lofts. There is a road all the way up, and parking space for two cars at the cabin wall. The cabin has running water and electricity, a dishwasher and a sauna. Everything one needs for a nice and relaxing cabin trip, in other words! There are many nice hiking trails and cross country trails right behind the cabin, and ski slope half an hour's drive away.

Everything from trips straight out from the residence and longer hikes such as Galdhøpiggen and Besseggen, Jotunheimen, Reinheimen and Breheimen National Park with many great mountains. For those who want to ski there is access to the "ski show" ski shed to take care of the skis. There is a garden and lawn around on all sides and it is fine to walk down to the centre of Lom.

The house is suitable both for adults and families with children. If you come to us, you can say hello to our 20 gentle alaska huskies. If we have available, you can book a sledding trip. We tailor short or long trips. Drive your own dog sledding! From us, there is a short way to the mountain. It is 5 minutes to the grocery store. It is about 15 minutes to Dombås and about 35 minutes to Bjorli. Both places have prepared ski tracks and alpine facilities. Bjorli also has a climbing park.

A short distance to the Birkebeineren ski stadium which has a large network of ski slopes. 15 minutes drive to Nordseter and about 20 minutes drive to Sjusjøen with great ski slopes.
