The house overlooks the Irish sea facing south/south west at the front and overlooking a tennis court (public) and golf course at the rear. Views are special with great walks on your doorstep. The house is a 15 minute walk to the village centre and under 10 minutes brisk walk to the local Pub. The suite is on the ground floor at the rear of the house with its own access. Small Inflatable beds can be provided for up to 2 at a small extra charge. Food available on a self service basis as agreed.

Dive into the history of this unique property. During WW2, Curlew cottage was part of the RAF Dalby site, and used as the NAAFI Kitchen and NAAFI Staff Quarters for those working in the receiving blocks (where they remain today). This formed a passive defence system that used steel-guyed transmitting masts and a pair of timber receiving towers, situated on the land by the sea, to to create maximum dispersal and deception.
