Charming chalet in peaceful rural location.

Our chalet is in our large, well managed garden. While it is near our house and we are happy to chat, we always respect peoples privacy. This is a very peaceful place where you can sit outside and watch the flames of the fire pit at night or stay in and have a cosy evening. Our neighbours are all of the four legged variety so some countryside noises are to be expected but the cows love to come and greet you at the wall. Parking space in garden

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The position of the cottage was perfect being walking distance from Kirkcudbright while being peaceful. We loved watching the red squirrels from the lounge window. We also had visits from deer and saw lots of bats. Anne was a perfect host and was very friendly and approachable. The only possible downside was the wifi connection which could have been better.

We had a lovely stay in Kippford, helped by some amazing weather. The caravan park was lovely and quiet except for the birdsong. We enjoyed local walk along the coast and through the woods wiht stops for tea and cake along the way. We also spent a day in Kirkcudbright looking at art galleries and doing another coastal walk.
