Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Dakar Region

We had a lovely stay with great hospitality. A breathtaking view, high quality bedding, a swimming pool almost on the beach in complete privacy, a private passage for walks with your feet in the sand. Perrine is always ready to help and give good advice, Dr. André will share his experience for excursions and the icing on the cake, he upgraded us for free with his honeymoon apartment for 3 days following a cancellation. It was a very nice stay and while being about 30 minutes from the airport and a driver ready to take care of us 24 hours a day we did not hear any planes during the 15 days of our stay no air corridor in the area not to mention nearby beach restaurants food shops and even a small medical clinic with its pharmacy as well as a doctor on call 24 hours a day which is really appreciable.

My boyfriend and I had the most wonderful stay for his birthday. The house was a peaceful sanctuary just outside of Dakar, almost like stepping into a Moroccan retreat. It was beautifully designed, and the art throughout the space added a unique and inspiring touch. Everyone we met was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The skipper service was brilliant, and Nathanael truly went above and beyond to make our trip feel special. Michael’s team made us feel so looked after, it was one of the most relaxing getaways! We made so many amazing memories and have already recommended the place to family, who will be visiting very soon. We honestly can’t wait to go back. This was my third week at Daphnes, just kept extending our stay because it just has everything we needed and more. I liked the space, the house was cool and airy enough we didn’t use the aircon or fans. I’m quite a foodie and the kitchen is perfectly adequate to make delicious meals from local ingredients. The blender/ hob/ oven all fine. Plenty of cutlery and crockery , bakeware, serving platters and gadgets. Fridge/freezer nice and large. Coffee percolator- 🙏Thank you. Abundance of options for dining, breakfast on the covered patio, lunch & afternoon tea in the front garden. Dinner at the dining table either on the main floor or in the first floor lounge/ diner den( has sink)overlooking sea. I haven’t slept and relaxed so well in years. So many little extra touches that just made the stay so good. A real homely stay for peace and tranquility. Loved the hula hoop!!!! I’m sure I will return.

My wife and I had a great time. Listing was as described, clean and in a good location. The host was extremely responsive, always available to meet our needs quickly. There was something unexpected on our side during the stay, and he was able to show great flexibility and understanding. He adapted with great kindness, which made our experience even more enjoyable. For someone who places great importance on the energy of spaces, I can say that René's studio immediately gave me a feeling of "home" in my first phase of settling in Dakar. The space is well decorated and beautiful in its simplicity. The kitchen is shared with Rene and his family, but I didn't feel uncomfortable because they made me feel at ease right away. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a connection with a host and to be located in a lively little neighborhood.

Very nice stay. A welcoming host, very active and at any time. Clean accommodation with everything listed in the description. Cute studio with air conditioning and everything close by. Best place I've been in Dakar for value for money! The apartment has what you need. It has a very nice terrace and the area is quiet. Excellent choice. The workers are friendly and helpful with everything. I highly recommend it!

Wonderful place for a getaway. Especially the patio area and garden were very nice to have breakfast and relax. The house was comfortable and Fabienne and Doudou responsive and friendly.

We had a lovely stay at Aissata's. We were a small family of 7 and we didn't run out of space!!The apartment matches the photos and description, we felt very comfortable there. The apartment is very well located and it is in a quiet area close to the sea, it is a real pleasure. The building's caretakers are very responsive and very nice. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this place.

This place was absolutely chic! The photos represented the apartment accurately. It is spacious and well decorated. We were very comfortable. Atsépo was very communicative when I was preparing for the trip. I had several questions because I was traveling with an infant and wanted to make sure we had what we needed. While we were there Malick and the building staff were incredibly kind and helpful in answering questions, reloading the electricity, and other matters. My only small complaint is not with the apartment but with the area, as first timers to Dakar and probably because we only speak English, we found it difficult to find dinner locally. Malick was helpful when we asked him and we had used a delivery service a few nights but overall that was one challenging aspect. Otherwise, I recommend the place. We absolutely enjoyed our stay.

Very clean, quiet and comfortable accommodations

The unit was as pictured, was equally impressed when I arrived at the unit. The location is located on a residential road which provided a level of privacy. It's centrally located, there are a lot of shops, restaurants, and vendors within a 1-5 minute walking distance. There are banks with ATM's and currency exchanges equally as close. The beach is a shirt 10 minute walk away, which granted easy access to the coastline and more amenities. I would recommend coming here solely for the convenience of having everything nearby without needing a vehicle to get around. Taxis are also very easy to get from this location, there is a main road at the corner of the residential street. There was parking available, though the street is pretty tight with cars, there was always parking available for a vehicle. For a first time in Senegal, this place is ideal and made my stay in Dakar easy. The host was readily available and responsive when I had questions.

Yasmina is very professional and very responsive. The apartment is beautiful and relaxing, cut off from the dynamism of the city, slightly off the beaten track from local shops. A huge thank you to my host, the lady I spoke to on the phone who kindly called me, as well as Cisse the co-host, the security guards of the residence, really hats off for this absolutely perfect stay! The welcome was warm, attentive and professional from start to finish. The accommodation was impeccably clean, perfectly equipped, as described, and even better in real life! I particularly enjoyed the thoughtful touches that really made a difference. Location is ideal, quiet and secure. I would recommend this host without hesitation, and I would be happy to come back. Had a great time at this Airbnb apartment. The host was very responsive and professional, providing clear instructions before and during my stay, which made my arrival and settling in very easy. The accommodation is in a great location, close to restaurants, a hypermarket, and several banks, which was very convenient. The neighborhood is quiet and the building is well secured, which gave me a sense of tranquility throughout my stay. The only small inconvenience was the lack of mosquito netting for the bedroom window, but it didn't really affect my comfort, it's just a minor detail. In summary, I am very satisfied with this experience and highly recommend this listing!

Really , we loved this experience too much. The host is a very kind person, he made us feel so comfortable , we felt at home, we didn't even want to go 😅 home.
