This lakefront home features 3 beds, 1 full bath, a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, and a living room w/ floor to ceiling windows. Enjoy private lake access (12 stairs leading down to a private dock and boat lift), with full use of lake gear including a Lilly pad, floaties, kayaks, and lawn games. Please note, the shoreline has a rocky bottom (not a gradual sandy beach), so close supervision is essential.

Historic 1880 Settler Cabin, Merryweather Farm

Merryweather Farm is a peaceful place on the open prairie. We raise organic garlic, apples, orchard pork, free-range chickens, turkeys, ducks, geese, and charming, lovable dogs and cats. Our goal is to provide a true pioneer experience with just a bit of comfort added. 1880 Norwegian Settlers Cabin is not modernized, attached barn has been rebuilt into uninsulated screen porch. Cabin has great old iron bed, loft has twin bed, screened in porch has day bed. Private modern bath included.

The Stella house is old, unique, and has a lot of history. We hope you will appreciate the furnishings that match the era of a 100+ year old house. Close to many of the area's popular attractions like the Laura Ingalls Wilder Trail/Museum and Pipestone Monument. This small town has a great small lake with lakeside park and public access. Forget your worries in this spacious and serene space. It's nestled in the hills less than a mile from Camden State Park. We are near hiking and biking trails in the summer with swimming at the state park. We have an ice rink on the property in the winter months. Bring your cross country skis or snow shoes to enjoy the park trails in the winter.
