The place was great. The view from the beautiful terrace! Nuno is an extremely kind host. He responds quickly and gave us plenty of recommendations. The departure and arrival at the accommodation was made very simple and pleasant thanks to him. In addition, Ponta do sol is a very convenient place: a supermarket with gas station just down the village, great restaurants and the beach being a beautiful place to see the sunset. I can only recommend this place to stay in Madeira. It's been a real favorite!

Fernanda is an excellent host and was very accommodating for myself, wife, and infant. We spent lots of time in the yard and admiring the garden. Fernanda’s welcome with fresh fruit and pleasant conversation was a delight!

It was so awesome, like a dream. The road getting there was a bit scary the first time but after once its easy peasy. The view is spectacular and it is super private and pleasant. The inside is right what you need and has all the appliances to cook for yourself. The location on the island is perfect as well not too far from anything really. North coast is 20-30 minute drive and Funchal the same. Up to nice points of interest are about 40-50 minutes but it is very worth it! Love this place and would highly recommend!

Being in Valley of the Nuns was spectacular and the views from our cozy apartment were epic. It's a beautiful drive to get there and the little town is charming and even has its own pool though we didn't use it. The apartment was large and airy and Manuel was very helpful and friendly. We visited their little coffee shop below in the morning and it was all just perfect. If you have a car you can get anywhere pretty easily if you don't mind beautiful, curvy roads. We didn't want to leave!
