3 km from Cunha, in an area of natural regeneration of the Atlantic Forest, is the site. I designed a house in a typical rural environment to share with visitors. It has a bedroom with double bed, a living room with sofa bed, a common bathroom and a well-equipped kitchen, with wood stove for the typical meals of the countryside. The site is 40 km from Paraty, a colonial city listed by the historical heritage. In the region it is possible to visit waterfalls and do trails in an area of environmental preservation.

Casa Mugango

Casa Mugango is in Cunha, in the Campos Novos district, about 25 km from the center, with 19 km of paved roads. It is located inside Cabanha Bocaina, a rural site. It is a refuge from the hustle and bustle, a calm environment with the proximity of Nature and country life. The house is surrounded by fragments of forest. Wild animals, insects, spiders and toads can be found, even with periodic fumigations. During the rainy season, we recommend a 4x4 vehicle. I do transfers at no cost, to be agreed upon!

An immersive forest retreat at Aldeia Rizoma

This brand new house sits high above the trees inside the Aldeia Rizoma eco village, a gated property 15 minutes away from the city historical center. The property offers a jungle gym, sauna (paid as an extra), private trails and access to 5 private waterfalls. The one bedroom studio has a king size bed built high so you can watch the forrest from it. It offers a private hot tube and a fully equipped kitchen. There is an extra bed that can be used for a third person with an extra fee per night

A cozy suite in Cunha

16 m² suite (4.5 m² bathroom). Breakfast: we provide an outdoor kitchen with the basics for a good breakfast: coffee powder, milk, sugar, sweetener, fruits, butter, jam and bread made by Harumi's sister. As the kitchen is fully equipped, feel free to use it whenever you want, but please: use it, wash it and put it away. I did a little renovation when I needed to remove the doormat (seen in the 1st photo). I redesigned it, but it will take some time to return to the exuberance of the photos.

The Monkey House is gently immersed among the trees, just a few minutes from natural swimming pools and waterfalls. It offers safe, comfortable, and fully equipped indoor spaces, high speed internet, as well as an open rooftop terrace designed as a lounge observatory overlooking the surrounding exuberant nature. The house is part of the Aldeia Rizoma retreat center, with access to a sauna, massage area, jungle gym, nature trails, agroforestry areas, gastronomy and natural spring water.

We are 10 km from the center of Cunha. Cabana Biguá was built on the highest part of the land, overlooking some points of Serra da Mantiqueira, such as Serra Fina, Pico dos Marins and Pico Itaguaré. You can walk freely around the grounds and explore the landscape.
