Beach house vacation rentals in Cumberland Island

I’d highly recommend staying at this AirBnB. It’s the perfect place to go if you want a peaceful, private beach vacation. Five ladies stayed here comfortably for a girls weekend. We made spa reservations at the Ritz Amelia Island which was a beautiful 10 minute walk from this BnB. It’s a 15 minute drive to the square and there are other restaurants and a coffee shop within a 5-10 minute drive from this BnB. The beds were comfortable, bathrooms were clean and common areas were clean and free of clutter. Loved it!

This listing was perfect! The location could not have been better! There was a park across the street and the beach was a very short walk away. There were a ton of stores and restaurants in close proximity. We booked this trip for my appointments at Mayo Clinic, which was only about 10 minutes away. The area was extremely quiet and peaceful. The home had everything we needed! We were able to cook full meals opposed to eating out every night. We also loved how we could wash our clothes and didn’t have to bring loads of dirty laundry home. They also had EVERYTHING you could possibly need for the beach including a wagon, chairs and toys. Last but most important, the owners were fantastic! They were so responsive and make the whole process a breeze! We will most definitely be back!

Daniel’s place was amazing! Its proximity to the beach makes this place well worth it. Just a 5 minute drive to great restaurants, bars, and shops. We loved the fenced in backyard area for our dog and took many walks on the beach. I would highly recommend staying here!

A super short walk to the beach! I came to check out the area and the new place that I will be moving into soon in this area. Abby’s place was a great little spot central to great shopping, food, and the beach! The little back yard set up with the cafe lighting was a charming end to the day.

We loved our stay at Marilyn's place! The place was exactly as described - clean, comfortable and spacious. The included bikes were a big bonus. My husband and I biked everywhere we went!

Erica's AirBNB was very clean and tidy. Erica gave clear instructions on how to check in upon arrival, which I had zero issues with. Erica's place was within walking distance to the beach where I spent the majority of the day on Friday. My dog sitter cancelled on me at 07:00 AM the day of my trip and Erica did not mind that I brought my two dogs along to stay with me and my family. It was a huge plus in my book that it's pet friendly. Erica's husband was very understanding and suggested different restaurants to eat at. Overall, I would definitely stay here again when I'm visiting Jacksonville Beach.

We had never been to Amelia Island, but we’re so glad we stayed at Jenny and Matt’s place. The home itself is beautiful…spacious and spotless and laid out really well for multiple guests to enjoy some privacy if desired. While the structure itself is fantastic, the beachfront location and ridiculous views are the star of the show! Amelia’s downtown area had some nice shops and restaurants and we enjoyed walking the area several times while visiting. You won’t be disappointed!

Loved this beach home on a peaceful street and close to the beach. The path to the ocean was a short walk directly down the street and through a romantic path. We would definitely stay here again!

Angela’s Airbnb property here is quite amazing. A group of us 6 were here to celebrate a dear friend’s wedding and the space was absolutely perfect for us. Had all the amenities needed and was close to stores/restaurants and most importantly close to the beach (10 min walk). The property has quite the charm and frankly I think it looks even better in person than the pictures (though the pictures are great too). I really appreciated Angela’s patience, understanding and communication throughout the trip. Thank you!

This place was almost better than the photos, we loved having the pool in the back yard for daily swims. Everything is beautiful inside and out. 10/10 would recommend and would definitely stay again!!

Leslie and Joe were so welcoming and friendly and helpful. Their home was perfect for us. The house is a true beach house just a quick drive across the street from the ocean. The back yard is beautiful and the pool and jacuzzi were a nice way to help ease the stress of the storm. We actually came during Milton the Hurricane. We were seeking a safe place from the Tampa Bay Area. They were both able to ease massive anxiety by being so accommodating and we greatly appreciate everything. Can’t wait to visit again for a true vacation.

Great stay at TabbyShack. It was clean and tidy but has all the basic supplies you need. The family loves the backyard and pool and outdoor shower. The couch was also a great spot to get out of the heat and relax. Great hosts who were easy to communicate with and offered up a ton of local suggestions we used.

Kristie's place was an incredible find for my family and I, we enjoyed the pool so much and also such a thoughtful host to leave snacks for not only the kids but our weenie dog too! Jacksonville Beach is such an awsome place to visit and vacation thank you Kristie for such an accommodating experience. Highly recommend this home for anyone's vacation!

Amazing house! Perfect location. We loved staying at Mint Julep! The house and especially the backyard, pool area was so private and relaxing. The screened in porch was great for our afternoon coffee. We loved being able to walk everywhere; dining, shopping, the beach, and entertainment. Jessica was wonderful to work with. We will definitely stay here again. We love St. Simon’s island and the Mint Julep.

The places was stunning, close to the beach, felt right at home, the amenities were great, my family had a fantastic stay.

My family and I loved our stay at Konti's house. The house had a lot of updates in the interior. Big kitchen with all the utensils, big master suite, and great pool! Only a few blocks from the beach. The whole team responded quickly any time of the day, even when I couldn't find the pool light switch. Would definitely stay here again!

Nice place in a quiet neighborhood, not far from the beach. The host was quick to respond and easy to communicate with. Everything went smoothly and it was a great stay!

This place was perfect for our family vacation. The home was beautiful, close to the beach and close to town. The beds were so comfortable!

Our family loved the Eagle’s Nest! With all of the great suggestions from Stephan, we had great meals and transportation while on the island. The house was clean and comfortable. The beaches were beautiful and our dogs had a wonderful time playing. Location within walking distance of the store was convenient. Be sure and pack your bug spray so you can enjoy hiking and the beach. We loved Cabretta Beach and the hike to it. We will be back!

My family and I had such an awesome time staying at the Loggerhead Lodge! The Airbnb was roomy and had everything we needed, from a well-stocked kitchen to a front row seat to the see the sun rise and to hear the ocean waves from the porch. There were plenty of beach towels, chairs, and an umbrella to make relaxing at the beach a breeze. Make sure to pack your own groceries and plan out meals to bring on the ferry ride over or contact Francine Bailey for the most awesome low country boil ever! Our hosts were fabulous and quick to respond to ensure that our stay was comfortable and easy! We loved staying on the island and our stay at Loggerhead Lodge. I definitely recommend it if you’re looking for a roomy, comfortable, well-stocked place to stay.

What an adorable house! It was much bigger than I expected. There was room for everyone, plenty of parking, and the pool was fantastic!

We enjoyed our stay at Cheryl and Dan’s. The house had everything we needed e.g., comfortable beds and couches, beach chairs, umbrella & towels, games, books. The house was also located in a quiet neighborhood, not too far from the beach, restaurants, etc. Cheryl was easy to communicate with, always quick to respond whenever I had questions. The home was luxurious & beautifully decorated...very comfortable with everything we needed and more! Lots of cool spaces inside and outside… The fourth story sunroom is quite the treat, especially when it was too chilly to sit outside in the early morning… Outdoors there's dining space plus a comfy seating area on the deck (and a couple of sitting areas in the yard for gathering to relax or have a private conversation). Being able to walk everywhere was a real bonus! We could walk to have dinner, breakfast or to the pier to watch the sunset… Loved it!
