We had a lovely stay! The home is in a beautifully updated old house that still maintains its historic charm. Everything felt clean and thoughtfully cared for. It was peaceful and quiet, with pretty, farm-like views out the windows—great for relaxing. I also appreciated that it was just a quick 10-minute drive to grocery stores, restaurants, and even a 24-hour gym. One big plus for me: there were plenty of towels and pillows, which I always find makes a huge difference in comfort. Would absolutely stay again!

We had a great retreat at John’s place. The farm was just the spot for a quiet weekend outside the city. John was a great host, thoughtful and responsive.

We had a great time in Luray! The house was as-described and having a fenced in backyard for the dogs was fantastic. Everything in downtown Luray is within walking distance. We did have one issue with the A/C not working, but the hosts were very responsive and got someone out to look at it ASAP - they even worked around our schedule for when we would be at the house so that we could wrangle the pups. We would absolutely stay there again. Only one word of warning - if you're over 5'7", watch out for that ceiling coming down the stairs!

Super cute cottage that is very well built. Secluded enough to feel you’re off in the wilderness and away from the hustle and bustle but also a quick 15 minute drive into Charlottesville. Patricia was super communicative and always available since the cottage is on her property. Would thoroughly recommend her place.

David’s place was wonderful. The property was absolutely amazing! Incredible place to get away from it all and enjoy the nature. The river on the property was my absolute favorite!

This was a wonderful location to stay at! The yard and fire pit were great (even though we got rained out in the evenings) and it’s a short drive to either Front Royal or Winchester to explore.

This amazingly cozy farmhouse was just the vibe we were looking for. Beautiful outdoor seating (screened-in porch, deck overlooking the vineyards, and lounge chair by the pool) made it easy to breathe in the fresh air. Beds were comfortable and water pressure was great! The outside deck with Solostove was perfect for the chilly evenings. We enjoyed light snacks and wine at Muse Vineyards, which was lovely and got to meet Sally! We ventured into town for some local eats. Can’t say enough good things about Woodstock Cafe’s breakfast. We enjoyed a sweet treat at Sugar Creek and had a lovely walk down the street at Seven Bends. If you’re looking for a place to unwind, look no further!

We had an amazing time at Taby’s place. She was a great host. The cottage is pretty. The swimming pool was nice respite in the scorching sun of June. Taby was extremely friendly and also helped us with the local recommendations.

Hosts were great at communicating. It unfortunately rained for the duration of our one night stay, but the games they have stocked helped tremendously to keep my 7yo entertained. They were also very accommodating to my sometimes noisy redbone coonhound.

I cannot say enough good things about Lynn’s place. Myself and 3 girlfriends went for a girls weekend and the place was perfect. I have never been in an Airbnb with such a well stocked kitchen. We cooked most of our meals in the house and had access to spices, nice knives and pots/ pans/ plates. Not like a normal Airbnb that is bleak and bare. The pool area was super cute and easily accessible. We met and chatted with Lynn who was so sweet and helpful- and she has the cutest dog ever, Baxter. The beds were comfy, the showers had plenty of water pressure, there was plenty of room inside to hang as a group. The surroundings were gorgeous. I cannot overstate how much we enjoyed our stay! Honestly the place is better than the pictures. Thank you Lynn!!

We’ve had this trip booked for over a year and Lake Glen Haven did not disappoint. We were greeted by the sweetest goats, sheep, and cow named Theodore when we arrived. There was even some feed on the picnic table that we could give them. Darn fresh eggs in the fridge and the swimming hole right out front? Get outta here. My kids 10, 8, and 3 were in HEAVEN! There were trails to hike and kayaks to take out on the small lake. Fishing, an island to explore and a charming Farm Store that sold local honey and homemade ice cream sandwiches strictly by honor system. Oh wait, and a tree house! Despite less than awesome weather our family had an amazing time. We were lucky enough to meet and chat with Ashleigh who told us all about the property and her adorable farm animals. Do not hesitate to book. So many memories were made! 5 STARS ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Such a beautiful place, the yard is peaceful and pristine. VERY spacious apartment/ studio! Comfortable bed!. We had a great stay!

This cabin was BETTER than the photos. The view is so beautiful that film can't do it justice. I was so happy when we arrived. The screened in porch was wonderful to spend time in, especially in the morning since you can listen to all the birds. The hammock was peaceful and hearing the water was wonderful. This cabin is a gem, it was worth the stay. Wish we could've stayed longer than a weekend! Luray has so much to do in the area. Highly recommend staying here. Even when a tree fell (due to harsh weather) and blocked the road, within minutes of messaging Anita she had someone coming out to clear the way. Just a overalm wonderful experience! Make sure to go get breakfast at Gathering Grounds Cafe! Best Chai latte in town!

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful cabin! The moment we arrived, we were blown away by how peaceful and picturesque the area was. The cabin itself is cozy, charming, and surrounded by nature, it truly feels like a private retreat. It’s the perfect place to disconnect, unwind, and just take in the quiet beauty around you. We loved how secluded it felt, and the cabin was equipped with everything we needed. Highly recommend for anyone looking to recharge in a beautiful, private setting. We can’t wait to come back!

This space is fantastic. Modern and stylish, beautiful furniture, packed with everything you need in the kitchen and bathroom, gorgeous surrounding and comfortable beds. We loved the deck, fire pit, hot tub, and dog-friendly accommodations. Very happy to have the EV charger. Worth every penny. We felt it was a versatile space. We stayed with our three young boys and two dogs and felt very comfortable.

My buddies and I had a great time. The access to the rowboat and lake was worth every last penny to me! The house was easy to find, and had pretty much every essential you could ask for. I’d 100% stay here again.

The cottage had everything we needed, including hairdryer and glassware. The large, charming yard was an added feature with a comfortable chairs, fire pit, wood, and fire starters. Our dog enjoyed the shade trees. The cottage stayed very cool on exceptionally hot days. Even the occasional Amtrak train was quaint. An ideal place to stay in Culpeper.

Thoroughly enjoyed the stay! The house was very clean, nicely decorated, and well stocked with plenty of cookware, games, books, and extra linens and blankets. The area was so beautiful, with rolling hills, mountain views, farm scenery, fragrant fresh air, and spectacular star views at night. My city dog absolutely loved getting to run and play in the well maintained large fenced in yard! Billy and Margit provided dog treats, yard toys, extra leash, water/food bowls, dog towels, pet proof trash lids, and sofa cover indicating that dogs are allowed on the sofa. My dog was so welcomed! Billy and Margit provided whole bean coffee that they freshly roasted, and a bean grinder. The coffee was amazing! Really enjoyed drinking the coffee in the mornings while listening to the chorus of birds chirping. Hiked at Whiteoak Canyon Falls, less than 20 minutes from Amy's place. The early check in and late check out times were another generous touch that was enjoyed. Would love to stay again!

Beautiful scenery and home. Quiet and peaceful. The sunrise and sunset were very calming. Very secluded but there is a winery on the way up the mountain if you’re looking to mix some civilization into your getaway. As the other comments mentioned the road leading up the mountain could be a bit rough without the right vehicle. We had a midsized SUV and clear conditions so there were no issues. We also had no cell reception for the last 30-40 minutes of the drive but that’s part of the appeal! Overall great place!

It was so peaceful and beautiful. Loved the quiet !! Tried my first bison steak and I was surprised that I liked it . We enjoyed our short getaway .

This cottage is beautiful, clean, very private and quiet. The home has all you would need and the finishes are higher end. There are so many windows to view the gorgeous grounds and creek. It is even nicer than the pictures. The host, Barb, was very easy to work with and very nice. I would definitely go back.
