Civil War buffs will enjoy being at the edge of the Brandy Station Battlefield and near the Graffiti House Museum, and St James Church. It's a great base for visiting historic sites nearby in Culpeper. This is horse country and the Warrenton Hunt sometimes hunt the farm.
