The view from this home is unparalleled! It's like we were staying right on the Blue Ridge Parkway! So many times during our stay, we all commented how amazing and beautiful the view was! The open layout of the main floor and deck were very well suited to a large family gathering and we never felt crowded. The lower level was perfect to house the adult "kids". The fact that our two dogs were welcome there was a very big draw and we truly appreciated the host's willingness to allow this. We all enjoyed our stay at this home and would love to go back!

We had a wonderful family time at Parker’s cabin. Has everything you may need to enjoy your time in the secluded woods of NC. Very private but with all the amenities you may need. Internet was good and the place very comfortable. It was quite rainy during our stay but we had no issues staying in and enjoying the hot tub from time to time. Would fully recommend this place to any one. Thank you Parker!

Nice get away spot. Good restaurants within 20 minute drive. Casino restaurants were good, but Sylva offered the best in options and quality. Golf at Sequoyah National is amazing. It was in great shape and offered spectacular views. If Gatlinburg is your draw, it’s not convenient. Back and forth over the mountain is time consuming and busy. We drove to Asheville and toured BILTMORE. Highly recommended. Thanks for a great retreat.

We searched for a cabin for a long time, and in the end got tired of all the options and just picked this one. From the moment we entered we know we had made a great choice and we ended up booking an extra night. The cabin is supercosy and well organized, the view is amazing. There is one cabin at like 60 meters away or something but when you look out on your deck you feel like you're all alone in the world and it's a wonderful feeling. I can 100% recommend staying here.

A beautiful space. We enjoyed ourselves immensely and had all our needs within reach with no issues to speak of. Waynesville was a treat and so was our stay. I was really inpressed with how cool the interior of the airbnb was.

The Bear Den was a superb place to stay. Patricia was a wonderful host. This has been our best experience with an AirBnB this far. Patricia was super organized with all her information and we really appreciate her information she shared on everything there was to do in the neighborhood from Sightseeing to restaurant recommendations. The place was great. It did not have a nice mountain view like we have had with other placed but it was in a very tranquil location and it felt very private. We stayed with their with 4 adults and 2 teens and it was easy to sleep us all. The creek outside was awesome as well and gave our teens plenty of entertainment. No need to bring games or things to do, it's all there, including a hot tub to relax and corn hole for a bit of fun. It location is fab with the most beautiful windy roads and waterfalls just 10 minutes away. Would definitely recommend this place and hope to visit again.

My brother and I stayed here for a night in-between us doing a bunch of adventurous things in the smoky mountains. The place is gorgeous, and was super clean and stocked up when we arrived. there were so many thoughtful touches that we noticed upon checking-in, like a guidebook filled with all the local recommendations/how to use the amenities, towels and robes for the hot tub/sauna, and, my perfonal favorite, a smores kit for the campfire! Another thing to note is the stunning views this place has! Waking up in the lift gives you the most breathtaking view of the smoky mountains. As well as when you relax in the hot tub you can look out into nature and relax in the serenity and take in the view. Krista was an amazing host and was so friendly and proactive about check-in and check-out. We will definitely be staying here again if we are ever in the area! And if you love nature, stunning views, a clean, comfortable, and cozy place to stay, then look no further than Krista's A-frame!

my 2nd stay at Lance's was better than the first! The home was squeaky clean! This place is private, beautiful surroundings, and close to stores and food! love the kitchen area, very clean and fully stocked! we had a great stay!

We were so surprised and happy to have come into a winter wonderland, the access was well cleared, and very easy to get to. House was beautiful, everything worked, Kimberly was great, if she will have us we will be back in the summer, awesome place!!!

This was the first Airbnb that not only had everything stocked- but stocked well. I never had to run to the store to get more detergent, paper towels, etc. It was clean and soooooo peaceful! The pictures were great but I don't know if they did it justice! We love being in the mountains and this was the best cabin we have been in! Loved the charm, peace, and stuff around the cabin to enjoy and all my kids enjoyed as well. It truly was home from home type of experience. We will go back!

I can't say enough good things about our stay at the 17 Degrees North Mountain Cabin. Everything was just as described and shown in the pictures, perhaps even more beautiful. It's difficult to capture in pictures the sheer size and scope of the mountainous landscape and peaceful sounds of the various birds, livestock, and river. We loved our little romantic getaway along with our dogs, and the fenced area was a massive plus for us. Horses graze right in front near sundown. Fireflies illuminate the fields at night as if the countryside is shimmering. Low-light pollution offers great views of the night sky and stars, especially from the hammock. Catherine was an exceptional host: friendly, responsive, detailed, and very knowledgeable while on the tour she offered, which I suggest you take her up on. I would absolutely recommend this stay. We booked our return trip before the current one had even ended.

This is the perfect mountain getaway. The view from the back deck is absolutely beautiful. Back deck is set up for the perfect morning - cup of coffee and Mountain views. Also, fire pit on site that can be used to roast smores. There was plenty of room in the home as well. Host was always quickly responsive and had a great binder of recommendations at the home. We were fairly close to downtown Franklin and loved attending the town’s farmers market and Friday night music/food truck fest. Highly recommend this home!

Our stay was fantastic! The location was beautiful and the home was clean and very comfortable! We quickly felt at home. Jeff was very clear on instructions, everything worked as it was supposed to, and he was responsive to any questions! It was a great way to embrace the smoky mountains with a little less tourism and traffic. My only recommendation if you book this location, make sure you have 4-wheel drive or a sturdy car, the very last bit of the drive was a little bumpy (but that’s expected in the mountains!). It was a great stay and would 10/10 recommend to friends or return for a future visit!

The cabin is in a peaceful, secluded location. There are neighbors around, but it is hard to tell for the most part. The road to get up to the place i could see as challenging in certain weather or vehicles, but the directions are very descriptive and on point. We were able to enjoy the Great Smoky Mountain National Park, the city of Cherokee, Bryson city, and Maggie Valley, as well as go searching for waterfalls near Highland. The area is beautiful no matter which direction you go! Most favorite restaurants during the trip was Highlands Smokehouse in Highlands for some amazing brisket and Circle H Chophouse in Cherokee, NC--bonus points for this one due to watching elk walk right by the windows while dining! Overall, it was a great place to stay. The host is super responsive with any questions or concerns and active in ensuring that you have a great experience!

We really enjoyed staying at the cabin. It is very beautiful and comfortable. The views are spectacular. Loved the gas fireplace. Awsome host.

Our trip was very cozy nice quiet place. Just as Ashely describe it. We enjoyed our time there. You can’t go wrong with this place and the price was good. If you want a nice cozy quiet place this is the one for you. Also very clean which is a plus for us. Thank you Ashley for sharing your home.

We had a wonderful family weekend here and made memories to last a lifetime! The cabin is charming, cozy, and just the right size for a family of 5. I had a last minute addition and Homestead Haven Realty was exceptionally quick to respond and accommodate the change. We were really looking forward to making s’mores in the fire Pitt… unfortunately the weather would not cooperate. But, we did take advantage of the many games the host provided. I would not hesitate for a moment to book this cabin again and hope to do so in the near future!

Nice relaxing stay for our daughters WCU graduation weekend. We loved the cabin and property. A little word of advice about the driveway though. A VERY steep incline up the side of a mountain and entrance is a little tricky for lower to the ground vehicles. I would advise a pickup truck or suv to come here with. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful place. The pictures don’t do it justice. The views were amazing!!! The road is very steep (which they warned us about) but it was fine during light hours. I wouldn’t have wanted to arrive at night. The place was worth it though. Also, they were very well stocked and made it easy to cook-in. It was wonderful to be able to enjoy a peaceful getaway!

Would stay again for quick visits to Sylva/WCU. It was very peaceful and quiet and in a friendly neighborhood just outside of WCU. The place was spacious and nice, and lots of area outside for our small dog.

Staying at Jennifer’s mountain retreat was truly a magical experience. From the moment we booked, Jennifer was incredibly responsive, kind, and thoughtful, making the entire process smooth and welcoming. She went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and convenient. The cabin itself was mesmerizing..honestly, the photos don’t do it justice. It’s even more beautiful in person. Every detail of the space felt mindfully designed, and the peaceful mountain views were exactly what we were hoping for. We especially loved the little touches like the hummingbirds visiting the feeder, the incredibly cozy fireplace on the deck, and the charming bee-themed decor. The bed was super comfortable, the linens were spotless, and the overall atmosphere was calming and rejuvenating. This place is a true sanctuary in nature, and I cannot recommend it enough. Thank you, Jennifer, for creating such a beautiful and memorable space! PS: Your honey is incredibly delicious. A must buy!

This is a super cute, very quaint cabin and was exactly as described. We especially enjoyed watching the beautiful horse wander around his pasture and come up for treats would highly recommend.

Second time at this magical place and it’s so hard to leave. We sit on the deck and just marvel at nature in utter peace and quiet.

Can't wait to come back! So glad to have found this beautiful gem. It was so peaceful & I loved seeing the sheep. Everything was smooth & clear in communication. One of my favorite parts was the hammock out front & all the cute and wonderful decor. Thank you Ms Sharon ~ we're so grateful !!
