Vacation rentals with lake access in Cullman County

We greatly enjoyed our stay at Claire’s home. She was very good at communicating and answering any questions we had. The drive to cullman for dinner is not bad at all! This house is in a great location, it’s a great place to relax. We definitely will be back:)

Great place with beautiful views.

This latest trip was our 2nd time staying here. We truly love how private this location is. The dock and all the amenities provided make this such a special place to stay for families. Communication was always so fast and helpful! Would gladly stay here again, as already proven!

House was fantastic for our family trip. The large screened in porch was a great hangout space for our crew. The dock had plenty of space for all of our floats, chairs, coolers, etc. And, having the electrical hook-up for the boat was an added bonus! Jesse was super responsive anytime we had a question, and helped make our stay enjoyable!

My family's stay at White Oak was just what we all needed. Situated on a lake, the views were magical. The large windows & back porch captured the natural beauty and the tranquil surroundings. This location is perfect for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The house is near Bankhead National Forest with many scenic trails and waterfalls that are easy to hike with small kids, then you can return to the house and hop on the peddle boat or enjoy some smores by the outdoor fire pit. The house was clean and updated, & the hosts were very responsive.

This wasn’t our first stay at the copper penny because we love the location and accommodations so much! Really feels like a home away from home. Katie is such a kind host who is always responsive when needed. We will be back and recommend for a nice peaceful getaway!

We loved our time here! Beautiful surroundings and the house fit a large group easily. The house was fully stocked and every detail was thought out. Loved that every bedroom had king size beds plus the extra beds in the basement. We’d love to stay here again anytime.

This is a wonderful cottage with well-stocked kitchen, laundry and bathrooms. Easy access to the lake with use of kayaks and life jackets or just enjoying the view from three different porch/patio areas (lower porch is screened-in). The drive in has a stretch of narrow gravel road with hills that made us glad we did not meet any oncoming traffic, but it makes for a peaceful, private location. The cottage is located between two small creeks that go to the lake, one of which could be heard flowing after a light rain (very relaxing). Amanda responds to inquiries promptly and courteously. The days here were restful, and it is a great place to get away or to meet up with friends.

Absolutely beautiful home. Very comfortable with all the amenities! It was perfect for a girls weekend!

The best Airbnb we have ever had!! We stayed for our daughter’s wedding and stayed a few days after. Kari was very responsive and answered all our questions as soon as we messaged her. I highly recommend staying at this lake house. If you are looking for a place to relax and have all the things you need to have a wonderful time then this is the place for you. Will’s hospitality and communication was the best I’ve ever experienced with an AIRBNB stay. The pictures of the home look amazing online but when you get to the lake house it is even more beautiful.

We thoroughly enjoyed our family's stay at Cottages # 1 and # 2. It was beautiful and peaceful. What a gorgeous setting! We were able to access the docks and rented a boat which we kept there overnight. As others have mentioned, there are 130 steps down to the dock from Cottage 1. Cottage 2's path to the other deck had less steps but you also have to walk on a rocky trail. Cottage 2's deck is covered. The only other issue at Cottage 1 was the steeper / gravel driveway, which has also been mentioned in a review. Cottage 2's driveway was level. It was okay for us because we had a truck with 4WD. We parked the sedan further up the hill. We didn't mind the walk to Cottage 1 or between the cottages, but an elderly person might. Otherwise, these 2 cottages were in a picture-perfect setting and we had great time there with our families, babies and dogs! Thank you!

Our other Airbnb had to cancel at the last minute, and we were fortunate to find this location and rent 2 cottages for Memorial Day weekend. We were so pleased with the setting! The Cottages (#1 and #2) were beautiful, clean, tastefully decorated, and private, with gorgeous views of the lake! It is on a quieter end of the lake with less boat traffic. There was a wedding going on at the venue but it didn't interfere at all with our visit. Peter was very easy to communicate with regarding questions. The kitchens were well stocked with essential tools. Be aware of the gravel road for the last mile of getting there. But again, a quiet peaceful place!

Great house on the water. Very peaceful sitting out on the floating dock. It was nice being in a quiet area but also a short drive to town to eat out.

This place was great, the host will answer anything you need answered, and the house is in a great location with lake access.

Once we found the place, it was as nice as it looks. We had no issues getting in and resting for a few hours before departing and getting back on our journey. I wish Google and Apple Maps would direct you to the cottage but they didn’t. I would definitely recommend staying here, I really would like to come back and play the course!
