There are many sights, beaches, and hiking opportunities in the area. We recommend the haaziko experience to the ones who like to spend time in the nature and want to listen to birds singing in the morning. Our lodge is ready to welcome it's first guest from May 2022 onwards. The lodge has an 80 square meter terrace where you can enjoy the view and the sun or take a sneak peak to the squirrels jumping between trees.

The house is located in downtown Balatonfüred, between three churches, about 25-30 minutes walk from the shore of Lake Balaton. There are restaurants, bakeries, shops and cafés in the area.

Chestnut, guesthouse in the Danube Bend

Chestnut guesthouse is a fully renovated A-frame cabin in the town of Nagymaros, only a few minutes away from the forest. With its breath-taking panorama, outdoor fireplace big garden and calm atmosphere it provides a good opportunity to relax and slow down a bit. Air conditioning (and electric panels in the winter) heat and cool the cabin so it we are open all year. The cabin can host 4 people, any pets are also welcomed.

You can put your feet up in front of the fireplace after a hike in the nearby national park, warm up on our panoramic terrace after a swim down by the natural Danube shore, cook a hearty meal in the kitchen, on the charcoal barbecue, or grill in the nearby firepit.
