“We have just spent at Sylvie a weekend of pure happiness. The welcome of Sylvie has filled us and I weigh my words. We immediately felt like home friends. Sylvie did everything to make our short stay more enjoyable. Fresh and tasty welcome drink, lemon balm leaves on the table so we get a herbal tea on the way back from the restaurant, from the bouquet of country flowers in the lobby to a breakfast with delicious home-made jams. there is. The house is beautiful we have a very well decorated apartment with a comfortable bed and sheets that "flower" good nature. You'll have the company of birds in the morning when you get up and nothing else. ”

“Lovely cosy little cottage. We were last minute checking in for Cathy. We only gave her two hours notice when our other accommodation fell through. She graciously replied not a problem and we stayed two nights. It was 45 degrees at the time and the night was very hot but the cottage stayed quiet cool during the day. At 45 degrees nowhere it that comfy. We would recommend for a couple or with one child as it is quiet small but that doesn’t detract. The area is amazing Sisteron Citadel (great views over the terracotta roof tops and the river) and the lavender fields Wow. A-mazing!!! In one day we easily did the citadel got there about 11.00 (40 mins from Cathy’s) in the morning left at2.00 and then drove to Senanayake Abby (1 hour 52 mins we don’t mind driving), which was only 9.50€ to get in with histopad ( that was wonderful and fully recommend) got there by 4.00 pm and then departed stopping many times on the way back to the accomodation to take pics of the lavender fields...many times! We would recommend Cathy and her place, both are wonderful. Cathy is so warm and friendly it felt like she was an old friend. The wifi is very slow is was our only draw back, we couldn’t hold a connection to FaceTime our family. Maybe a booster would fix the problem? Everything else was absolutely perfect. :) Thank you Cathy!”

“We so enjoyed our stay! It was the perfect stopover on our way from Lac Ste. Croix to Provence. Communication was fast for our last minute booking and when we arrived, we were greeted with smiles and a warm welcome. Francis and Marie had a language translator ready, but we enjoyed practicing our French with two very understanding locals. Is is a short 5 min walk to the closest brasserie, pizza and nice restaurant and more if you walk further. We felt safe and at peace in this quiet setting and would recommend it for anyone looking to get off the tourist trail and experience life with true locals.”
